All I know is the village is falling apart. Driving down some of these streets with all the pot holes is like driving on a road from the wild west

What were the promises he made?

Very true they are. But it is a small town and the streets have been neglected for probably 30 years. Despite what you think streets are extremely expensive. Anyone who has an asphault driveway can tell you it is a lot less than concrete by about half, but just doing a driveway is probably 6 to 8 grand for a normal driveway. Then consider how many miles, not feet, of driveway there are in this village. It would cost millions to get all of the streets repaired. So all the village can do is patch and do small sections unless you want property taxes to double.

Property Taxes to Double? Ask Trustee Small (VVP) about that. That's coming as soon as the elections are over. you want to do something to protect yourself? Vote the Coalition candidates out. A vote for the Coalition is a vote for the Village Voice Party, you can bet on that.

Yeah actually it's November 8th for any of you who wanna vote. Don't get all these people who try to get ahold of these jobs so badly. They don't pay that much. Are these people really that starved for attention? Go to a children's hospital and donate your time and you will get a lot more attention and actually do some good.

What has the village improvement party done for justice, btw?

They've been absent for the last two years and rarely attend board meetings unless it's election time. Haven't been out to volunteer for anything in the village unless it's a door knock to beg for a vote.

Both parties are a mess but the village improvement party hasn't done anything for the residents and can't seem to figure out how to file basic papers-thus their 'new' party name.

It's not even March and here comes all the negative election shilling. Just what we all want to see money wasted on again this year.

It is funny to me how people criticize all the politicians that are in office, the new people that are running for office. It seems to me if you're that unhappy with what's going on in your town it would be more productive to get out of your Lazy Boy and try to make a difference your self, instead of just complaining about everything and everybody. Have a wonderful day!

How do you know that person doesn't already do that? People can be involved and not happy at the same time.

Seems like that's a big assumption you're making.

No one is required to like both parties.

I still don't see the question answered- what has the VIP party, the new party, done for the village?

Well, you are going to have to wait until the VIP WINS! to get that answer. As far as I am concerned, they are startin from scratch, the VIP is a new party, the residents must give them a chance. VOTE FOR THE VIP... I THINK.

How does that even make any sense? Wait to see what they can do?! They have to prove with next to no experience they are qualified to do something.

They have one candidate that runs every election and loses.

That type of mentality and the inability to answer residents questions won't get your party votes. Insult the voters and have no answers. Good game plan.

They aren't new! They are the PVP with a different name and some different candidates. They couldn't figure out when to file their paper work so they changed their name. I say vote April 2nd.
