My family and I watched the fireworks from the driftwood beach on Jekyll Island. Very nice. The only downer to an amazing evening was the trash left behind by the careless family next to us. Beer bottles, dirty nappies and the like. Why wouldn't grown folk clean up after themselves?

We went to the celebration at Mary Ross and my kids had loads of fun! My 11 year old daughter won the hula hoop contest :)

Some friends from work went there with their little ones as well. They all said it was well organized and they had lots of fun too.
