What a police officer (or any working person) does behind closed doors outside of work is none of his employers business. Unless he is committing sexual assault of some form, why should he be fired? I am not condoning adultery, but it is not our business.

GET YOUR PROOF AND SUE HER IN COURT FOR ENGAGING IN A ADULTUROUS AFFAIR WITH YOUR HUSBAND; GET THE EVIDENCE. TAKE PICTURES, HAVE SOMEONE TO SECRETLY FOLLOW THEM AND GET RECORDINGS. WHY STAY WITH A MAN THAT CHEATS ON YOU; LIFT UP YOURSELF. KNOW THAT YOU DESERVE BETTER. GOD BLESS

I'd say it would depend if he is seeing this person while on duty.

Does not matter; yes action should be taken even if both are married especially if the officer is on duty, in uniform. It happend in Columbus Ohio and I'm sure it's still going on.

My fiance is a deputy officer, we have one child together and another one on the way. Our Wedding is planned for this December. Could he lose his job because we are not married? Or, if we decide not to marry and just live together?

No a police officer can not be terminated for having a affair. I am a attorney here in Hinesville and have had several affairs with married cops and will continue to bc all it is is sexual relations and nothing more.

As long as it is 2 consentual adults then remember it takes 2. I'm not a piece of crap, im just a adult that does not want the drama of being married or in a relationship myself. I just want the intense feeling of sensual contact. We are not hurting anyone. The married cops go back home and we are both satisfied. It makes the cop a better person for his family to be around and I don't ask questions nor do I care about their home lives. I'm all in it for the fun. And when a person comes in wanting a divorce and we end up together...well, then that is also OK.

Galaw68 you are a disgrace to the legal profession and every one of these police that you are claiming to have affairs with are disgraces to the uniform. You of all people should know the laws on adultery. You garbage ass piece of shit.

wtfchuck - what a name dude. Laws on adultery ??? And what laws is that in Georgia ?? I am a adult and it is consensual on both or all 3 of parties. Married people need loving from somewhere so why not keep it within if possible. Law should read that married people can have sensual contact with others as long as its not emotional.

A police officer is supposed to show ethics, morals, if not how can they be expected to enforce laws that they could very well break. This is just one more reason people need to film police officers and public officials ANY time they see something inappropriate. IF they have no morals how can they be trusted in bad situations example (offered a bribe) America has lost its ethics, and its gonna all come odwn on our heads!
