Looking to switch to AT&T wireless to get the iPhone. I've always had Alltel which has worked great all over the county (except for Sapelo). But anyway, I looked at AT&T's coverage maps and it appears that the only strong coverage is around the city of Darien and a few miles out, with decent-looking coverage along 251 and along the I-95/US-17 corridor, and in the open marshes. It appears that it is lacking along GA-99 between Carnigan and Eulonia. I live at the Ridge, where there appears to be okay coverage. I know the coverage maps are not perfectly accurate, so anyway, I was looking to see if anyone around here as AT&T and if so, what areas of the county have good coverage and what parts are dead zones. Let me know.

and just an aside, I know they don't have 3G in Darien. The closest 3G appears to be Richmond Hill and Kingsland. I think it's kinda ridiculous that hick-towns like Hartwell GA have 3G from AT&T, but the Brunswick/SSI area, perhaps GA's top tourist destination, still does not have AT&T 3G...
