Good post! people dont change at the spin of a dime, it takes a lifetime for the few who are able to change. For most, change never comes.
So you advocate that we should throw rocks at children?

Obama says we shouldn't, yet you disagree with him.

Thanks for the link. Shows the true heart of the liberal socialists.
You are welcome. It's evidently very upsetting to them. Since they can't defend their leader, they attack us. It's really sad. They can't tell us how great & wonderful Nobama is, with a SMILE on their faces--- because they have nothing great & wonderful to share & obviously NOTHING to smile about. We conservatives know the truth & that's all that matters.

@ IO.

"Normal Americans are disappointed that Obama is just slightly, ever so slightly, less Right Wing than Bush. He's less a liberal than John Birch.
He creates the appearance of choice without true substantive choice.
That's not by mistake. It's an intended result of the system. The system created to perpetuate power in the hands of the chosen few."

"Normal Americans are disappointed that Obama is just slightly, ever so slightly, less Right Wing than Bush. He's less a liberal than John Birch."

I've yet to see any normal Americans, even here on topix. Maybe you mean political views, if so the result seems to be Obama is a disappointment to those who elected him. I can say he's a disappointment to me and I didnt vote for him.

"He creates the appearance of choice without true substantive choice."

I agree there are many of you liberal socialists who believed him. But not to those who can see through bs and hyperbole.

The system huh? Your paranoia is showing this morning. The chosen few huh? ok, who chose them, why were they chosen? who are they by name?

Getting an early start on the obama kool aid is working.

Interesting that the poster doesn't believe the Liberace Party looks pretty silly most of the time to those that have more than a minimal amount of common sense.

He posted good and valid information from factual sources. It wouldn't hurt anybody to get more of that in their intellectual diet.

Like factual info from the IRS? Like factual info from the White house about Benghazi? Like factual info from th DOJ about the AP.

Some people eat B.S. also, doesn't mean everyone does.

It's always amusing to let a Right Wing Wacko explain that $1 Trillion Dollars spent "protecting" Japan, and South Korea, Indonesia, etc.,

The Straw Man King (aka the Queen of Irony) lives on!

Something perhaps the clueless and uneducated could learn is that just because someone is against the Liberace Party, the POTUSA and many of their policies and actions, it doesn't mean they're COMPLETELY for the policies and actions of the good guys...

In other words, just because someone is against BO, it doesn't mean they were happy with W.

<quoted text>Obama suggested that perhaps we shouldn't stone our kids as the bible dictates we do? That's the problem you're extolling?

And is it possibly you could have found a more preachy, poorly thought out low-brow video? I don't think you could have. It was painful to even listen to the "commentator" on this video.

Are you really letting this stuff sink into your brain? No wonder you're so angry and misguided.
Right Wing Wackos have a three major problems they can never confront because it demonstrates the total bankruptcy of their positions.

They want America to be a "Christian" nation, yet they despise everything that liberal, socialist, commie, "Libtard" Jesus Christ preached ; and

They cannot argue against the fact that whenever Right Wingers are in charge - the deficits explode, the debt doubles or triples, we waste Trillions playing war, and the wealth travels upward to the top 1% faster than ever.

They benefit more from government programs than any other group, but tax breaks and subsidies to them- that ain't welfare.

Those facts make their positions unworthy of serious consideration.

They know it, but can't accept it.

"Accountability" and "rationality" just ain't in their vocabularies.

Size of Gross debt..

Ronald Reagan $2.9 trillion
George H.W. Bush $4 trillion
Bill Clinton $5.6 trillion
George W. Bush $10.6 trillion
Barack Obama $16.4 trillion

Bush II added 5 trillion in 8 years, less than his daddy at 4 trillion in 4 years. Obama 6 trillion in 4 years.

Facts are facts and hyperbole is hyperbole.

I understand suggesting reading a book to Right Wing Wackos is like asking Dracula to eat garlic.

But give knowledge a try, and perhaps you'll get a grasp on why you'll never see a moderate or progressive allowed to run for national office, until wealth and income disparity is reversed.

Here's a great book -

"What Then Must We Do?: Straight Talk About the Next American Revolution"

author: Gar Alperovitz

Gar Alperovitz is a professor of political economy at the University of Maryland and a co-founder of the Democracy Collaborative. His books include "The Decision to Use the Atomic Bomb" and "America Beyond Capitalism."

Since you consider yourself so smart and educated, can't you use any words other than "irony" or "uneducated"? Try to expand your knowledge just a little bit. There are many words in the English language. Perhaps people will actually judge your posts positively on occasion (not).
And by the way, the phrase "Jus Sayin' " is really silly coming from someone your age...
"Since you consider yourself so smart and educated"

Interesting, another omnipotent poster that knows how I consider myself. Wow. Can you tell me what the lottery numbers are going to be?

I wonder what words this poster would suggest I use that provide the same meaning as "clueless and uneducated" and "irony". Perhaps hypocrite or similar, but I like what i use.

BTW, if the poster thinks I care (or probably anyone else, for that matter) about how my posts are rated, said poster is sadly mistaken. Ratings on an anonymous board? REALLY?

You live in a culture of lies, you watch TV and listen to radio that doesn't even claim to be news, but you believe what they say.

Republicans in congress have wasted time and our money trying to make Obama look bad. Heath Care has been voted on in the House how many times in the last few years??? Did anyone think they had the votes to overturn, NO. Did everyone know the horse has left the gate and its just to late, YES. They do it to placate the ignorant base of the party, wasting time and money. Was Obama behind the IRS looking into tax free status for the Tea Party. The talk shows are sure he is. The Republicans in Congress are up in arms and making all kinds of accusations, do they know something no one else does, NO. Mitch McConnell even admits they have no proof, but who needs proof when the party not in control of the White House wants to be. When the country is in terrible shape all they do is play politics, and the ignorant base just eats up all the bull shite.
