For those interested in a less hyperventilated look-

http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/newsdes...

"The larger problem with the scandal culture in D.C. is that, because each example of government wrongdoing quickly morphs into a partisan effort to attack the White House (the same was true when a Republican was President), the actual remedies for the problems uncovered become almost beside the point. A U.S. congressman will probably go farther in his party hierarchy by roughing up Obama than he will by helping to pass legislation to ensure that all diplomatic posts have adequate security. Likewise, the I.R.S. abuses suggest the need for both major tax reform and changes to campaign-finance laws, while a future dragnet of news media phone records could be prevented if a strong federal shield law were in place. Don’t hold your breath waiting for any of these policy changes." RL

Hilarious! The late night comics are having a field day. Nice to know they "spread the wealth" when it comes to political put downs.

This is just more spin and counter-allegations against the Republicans.

What do you think that closed door meeting Obama had with the press was all about. They had to get their plan of attack together….Now we are seeing the first shot of it.

The Democrat Socialists are beginning to strike back in their usual manner of lies, denies, spin and ‘vast conspiracies (name your kind, type, style, etc)’ that exist only in their lies and imagination.
The matter is, how far and how long will they be permitted to get away with it, and will it at long last implode the administration and bring them all down?

Isakson must go, no one outside of his district would vote for him if they paid attention to what he has stood for, and how he votes on important issues. I can see why someone in his district would vote for him, if they cared less about Liberty, and the rest of the country than the money Isakson brings in to their district, but what about the way he is helping "Establishment Republicans and Democrats" destroy our Bill of Rights? Once the Constitution is destroyed, America is destroyed, and so is Liberty for the whole rest of the world. We need fresh blood in Washington, and we had better start making sure those we elect are Strict Constitutionalists before we send them up there!
What specifically are you referring to. Which votes on which issues?

And CBS president David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obamas national security adviser. No, that doesn’t look fishy.

Bravo!
That my friends is how you write a properly indignant post without actually saying ANYTHING. Words like Liberty, destroying America, Destroying Bill of Rights, wow - it all sounds very impressive! While not actually discussing ANY particular point about how to govern a nation.
If your point was blustery uselessness, well done my friend. Well done.
I have to agree with you on this one, Chicken. Before I read your reply, I replied asking him/her what specifically he/she was referring to.

Not.
I have asked you more than a few questions that you cannot, or will not answer. The democrats had a monopoly, they still have a majority, no plans, no actions, no results, game over. The status quo will be in effect for a few more years at a minimum.

Here is the most important question, what is the liberal democrats ultimate goal?

Can you answer that one, I doubt it.

Obama stated, once again, from the Rose Garden, he hears political breaking news on television or from reading his morning newspaper. How many idiots believe this?? I guess he's speaking directly to his loyal ghetto supporters & kool aid drinkers. This man either thinks we're stupid, OR is so far removed from daily briefings, he actually just doesn't care..... I did read he often SKIPS daily briefings, so maybe it IS true.... As, someone said, he's the most dangerous, non-Christian, anti-American, we've EVER had in the Oval Office.
He NEVER runs out of excuses for being stupid. The fact that even the die hard Obama lovers on Topix support his callous disregard for what is going on is appalling. Obama will NEVER take responsiblity for anything that doesn't make him look like a hero. Remember: HE killed Bin Laden. lol
Interesting how Seal Team 6 didn't kill Bin Laden. Obama did.
THEN: Obama didn't drop the ball in regard to Benghazi. It was terriorists and it couldn't be helped.

Obama has NO accountability whatsoever. None. It has gotten SO ridiculous that I just laugh now. If a conservative were the president now during all of this, the loonie libs would be rioting in the streets and sniping from tops of buildings instead, it's an extreme loonie liberal socialist commie lunatic president, so IT'S ALL GOOD. Too funny!

That poster has a history of that modus operandi (MO) for some time, under several different names. Get your butt handed to you (figuratively, of course), leave, change names, come back firing some more.

Of course, he/she will claim it never happened.

Not worth the time or effort to debate...

+1, however if a conservative was the President right now and this stuff would be happening, many of us would be "pitching a fit" rather than trying to defend the actions (or lack thereof).

Most of us (I know you're on of 'em) don't blindly support what is done by politicians and labor to learn the whole story.

Long before the Internal Revenue Service revealed it had improperly targeted conservative 501(c)(4) groups, a group of Democratic senators led by New York Sen. Chuck Schumer, urged the IRS to do just that.
Schumer along with Democratic Sens. Michael Bennet, Sheldon Whitehouse, Jeff Merkley, Tom Udall, Jeanne Shaheen and Al Franken, penned a letter calling on the agency to cap the amount of the political spending by groups masquerading as “social welfare organizations.”

Don't forget to include Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and all the other radicals, even Politix (who owns Topix), who would rather see this country fall than give an inch.
It is amazing how the Left hyperventilates over people like Rush who actually have a different point and, because of that pesky freedom of speech, have the opportunity to express it. And I presume you are referring to Rush's statement of "I hope he (Obama) fails." Anyone with an ounce of intellectual integrity understands what he was saying, but most on the Left pounce on it and use some variation of your stupid statement that he "would rather see this country fall". So we'll have a translation for those who are to dense to see the meaning.

"I hope he fails." - Translation: Obama's policies will be a disaster for this country.
His policies rely on a distrust of the strength of the American people to work hard and achieve their dreams.
His policies are based on the premise that the American people should instead look to the government for all their needs.
His policies are based on the desire to grow the government more and more and reach further and further in the lives of Americans to control everything from what doctor they can see and when (or if), to what jobs will be available after industries he disagrees with are shut down.
His policies are based on believing that the government should infringe on rights directly expressed in the Constitution as vital to the continuance of this nation as free and answerable to its citizens and instead "discover" rights that are not rights, but privileges and extend them in effect to every person who wants to come here - legally or not.

These are the policies that Rush -and most who call themselves conservatives-disagree with and consider destructive to this country and the principles on which it was founded. So when he, and we, say we "hope he fails", we are saying for the GOOD OF THE COUNTRY, we hope he fails to implement those policies that would be so destructive to this country - because we LOVE this country and want her to continue as the best the world has ever seen - perfect, of course not - but the best that has been achieved.
