I am trying to find out who Renshaw Road is named after. My grandparents used to live on Long Neck Point so I wonder if they did something wonderful to get a street named after them. They had a big stone house called "Ionia" which has now disappeared and I would like to find out what happened to it. Someone said that somebody bought the property along with the Sacred Heart Convent property and tore everything down. My grandfather died in 1939, so we are talking about ancient history. However if anyone knows anything, I would be very happy to hear about it.
