This is sad and the person should be punished.

But I do question the use of the word "murdered" as it relates to animals.

"Killed" is more appropriate.

Oh, to be sure, it was an animal who killed them, a two-legged animal. Most likely ventured out of the cave for a warm drink. When they're caught, and they will be, it's only right to perform the same 'ritual' on them.

Those poor kids. Can you imagine how the girl felt seeing such a thing? I hope they find the people that did this and they are severely punished. People are just sick.

I remember when I was a kid, something similar in our neighborhood happened. People's pets that were left outside were found drained of all their blood. We had a couple pet rabbits outside that we ended up moving in our garrage. Turned out to be a bunch of malcontent teens who had joined a group called "War against God" who were into that sort of thing. Really stupid and pointless stuff.

Just teenagers lashing out at their upbringing in a really misguided way.
Call them satanists and you'll make them giggle with delight at how 'scary' and 'bad' they are. They want the notoriety.

There are some weird people out there, I tell ya. But I can't help but wonder, if they're so "bad" why do they do these things to defenseless animals?

People who are into Satanic Worship will kill animals to sacrifice to their god satan. They will drink the blood. These are a bunch of sick, cowards who look to satan for power and acceptance.

They ususally don't get caught because they are careful and very sneaky at what they do. You would not know who the satan worshipers are unless they would tell you. They could even be one of your neighbors. There could even be one of the cowards posting on this forum.

They feel that they have freedom of religion and can do waht they want. I wish that all of them that do this kind of hateful crimes would be caught and prosecuted.

If they are caught they would probably only get a fine and a slap on the wrist. Our court system probably would not take this very seriously.

For once I agree with you JTB, I always thought thw word " murdered " pertained to Humans. Any other living being would be slaughtered or killed.

This act was so sad and scary that we have this kind of "element" in our area.
My heart goes out to the family and the children that had to endure this senseless act of violence on some poor defenseless creatures.

it doesnt matter what its called, murder, slaughter, or killed, animals are pertained to people too, they were part of a family. but the thing is, the "people" who did this, did not need to take their "crazy beliefs' on these poor goats or put this sad feeling on the kids. absolutely no other animal did this to these goats! they were strictly crazy people. these goats belonged to friends of ours & it was sad to get a phone call later that day explaining what happened to these poor goats & what the kids had to see. this was a low crime & whoever did this, good luck in your life, cause this proves that your immature & have nothing better to do with your life except ruin people.

There must be some really strange people in that area. What a disgusting thing to do. My heart goes out to the kids and I hope they catch the worthless bags of hair who did this.
