Its really sad to hear and read about the passing of Dr Wayne Taylor, a really nice guy. A bit gruff at times, but his Annie could always handle him. He was an alright dentist too. Often servicing those without insurance, for free. I once had a free emergency visit , and when I got insurance he became my dentist. I think he should have been a veterinarian instead of a taking over his fathers dental practice.

Everyone who knew Wayne, knew he was a hunter and dearly love his dogs, but his real true love was Ann Roddy. My God did he love that woman. From time to time he would or she would be with another, but never for long. She was the love of his life, since their Cheyney school days. If others had left them alone and not interfered they could have had a full life together, and not made the unnecessary sacrifices left to them. But…they never stayed apart anyway, they were true in heart to each other. Anyone else was just someone to be with. Its an amazing love story that’s gone on for 35 years. Though they never had children, they should have. If any of you think you know this story differently, you don’t. My heart really goes out to Ann. I offer her and his family my deepest and warmest sympathy.

Truly sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Wayne Taylor. Interesting reading your take on his personal life. He and Ann may have had a past, but he shared his heart with another.

Truly sad hearing about the passing of Dr. Wayne Taylor. He will be missed.
Interesting he and Ann never were able to fulfill a commitment, but he did share his heart with another. So there is more to his story then what you know too.

I was suprised to hear the passing away of Wayne Taylor. He was a great guy. I just saw him a few weeks before. Cant believe it. I know those dogs miss him. We will all miss him. He helped many folks without dental insurance. He had many babes he shared his heart with. I agree with Vonne that Ann was to the end the love of his life. He always talked about her. Sleep well my man.

Just like everyone else I was devastated when I got the phone call saying he had passed. I have worked with him for the last 5years. He became a father figure to me. He was my boss, mentor, father figure and pain in my butt all in one. Everyone that came to the office knew what kind of relationship we had at the office. Dr. Taylor will always be missed and loved by many.

Your feelings are certainly valid, Reba. It would unfair and cruel for anyone to attempt to undermine them. In aman as big as Wayne, there was more than enough room for two in his heart. God bless!
