I agree KITV needs to allocate resources to its news department to make it competitive. But, that doesn't mean "throwing out the baby with the bath water." It seems when building a news dept. you would want seasoned, quality journalists - which Ben definitely is. Nothing against Amber-Lynne's, but what are her qualifications and what makes Mr. Rosenberg think we'll watch her over Ben. I would think putting more journalists in the community - getting more stories of interest to more people - would do more to impact ratings.
