It is from sewage overflow because of the recent heavy rains. Both sewage plants and septic systems overflow during storms and the runoff ends up in the bay. Fairhope also has the added problem of hundreds of ducks and geese on the beach. They go to the bathroom and again it ends up in the bay. I won't walk my dog by the duck pond in Fairhope because of all the bird droppings.

"I won't walk my dog by the duck pond in Fairhope because of all the bird droppings."

If you didn't have a dog to walk--that might also help the situation. Can't you find a human to love or is that beyond your capabilities?

What do you know of other peoples capabilities? You seem like a very bitter and negative person. This is what you do with your time, bait people into fights online for entertainment? It seems that you are the one incapable of love.

Oh, so now you are judging me! I thought that you said that was my shtick.

Just making an observation based upon your statement. Instead of adding to the topic you insist upon bashing people you know nothing about. I also take from your previous post that you feel all pet owners are incapable of love with another human.

I also pick up after my dog when I walk her; so her waste isn't part of the problem. I'm pleased you care to add so much about a topic you seem to nothing about.

I'm only adding to your post that seems that you think the local authorities can do something about an abundance of birds and their droppings. In this respect, I don't think you know what you are talking about. But, maybe while you are walking your dog and picking-up after her, you can also pick up some bird droppings. If you find that this is impossible then you might have to just find another place to walk your dog if it is so offensive to you. After all, it is a duck pond so I'm sure the ducks won't mind.

My point is bird droppings are a source of E coli. Feeding the birds is illegal. I could really care less what you think. I doubt you do much thinking at all after reading your posts; you are full of it though. The whole point of this post was to hear other locals viewpoints on the problem. You aren't local and I doubt you could afford to live by the beach in Fairhope anyway.

Would love to have you go bird hunting with my dog and I sometime. I could also always use another anchor for my boat if you are available!

Fairhope has a beach? All I have seen is a few hundred feet of placed sand along the shore bordering duck-water. I doubt that you can afford to come to the Gulf where there is a beach worthy of the name and buy condo that is worthy of the price. I'm still waiting to hear your other 'locals' chime in on your ridiculous post as you had hoped. I guess they thought it was as stupid as I have pointed out and are just ignoring it. Watch your step the next time you walk your dog--it's a dangerous world out there.

Enjoy looking at the oil platforms from your great condo. You must dock your boat off of the balcony.

I always watch my step so I can avoid stepping on somebody like you and ruining my shoes.

Since when did rednecks start wearing shoes?
