What a shame nobody told him that he'd gone to the wrong country and that Iraq never threatened the US or those around him in any way.
'Just another duped grunt who had it coming' should be written on his gravestone and those praying over him should check what bits and pieces were put in his crate.
How dare you say that!
Who is going to open his coffin to check what's inside? His caring family?
We trust the army not to add dead dogs to make up the weight. So there.

Hi m,

I'm sorry to have to tell you that your view on the world is completely back to front.
Joey and his evil, murdering chums were the ones who "are a disgrace to the world." Killing people for their oil was neither noble or heroic.
He was not fighting " for you," unless you have shares in Haliburton.
Neither was he protecting you as Iraq never ever posed any threat.
You must try to get out more.
At least try reading newspapers.

Evil, murdering chums....bet you've never said that to any of our faces. Why not take a trip down to your local Armory or closest base and tell the first person you see in uniform what you think. I bet you get you A$$ kicked !!
Those of us that serve and have served have no control of what takes place with companies like Haliburton, Black Water or any of the other companies that are making money from these wars. But what we can do and have done is protect the rights and freedom of just about every country that has asked.
If you don't enjoy your freedom, why not go to Iraq or Afganistan and help those people the only way you know how....talk, write and hide behind a computer screen, or if you really have a pair sign up at your local recruiter and see what your made of, SO til you've walked in our boots or upon the same soil a Soldier, Marine, Sailor or Air Force combat veteran has why don't you just shut your mouth and be respectful of those and their familes that have paid the ultimate price for your freedom....however if you still feel you need to show disrespect, I'd be more than happy to give you a lesson that will teach you to respect!!!

you know, i don't know about you, but i am damn tired of hearing people disgrace our country and its military. i was a member for three years, and if my husband and i didn't have young children, i would be fighting this war right beside him. i can't understand how people can continue to blame the troops that are merely in doing the job that they are assigned for anything that goes wrong. i used to think that the US was full of brave and courageous, if not just devoted citizens. i guess i was wrong, because it seems to me that people continue wearing their rose colored glasses and hiding behind the conspiracy theorists of the nation. its absolutely ludicrous!

Hi Elizabeth,

Your country and its military don't need anybody to 'disgrace' them. They have managed it all by themselves by illegally invading places and murdering, raping, torturing and abusing innocent people.
Imprisoning and torturing folk without trial for seven years in Guantanamo Bay might seem pretty clever to you but the civilized world sees it differently.
The military are regarded, quite rightly, as the scum of the earth and has been since the slaughter of women and kids in Vietnam.
How you can look at yourself in a mirror is one of life's great mysteries.

hahaha o ye of little knowledge. apparently you seem to forget that our "civilized society" is full of murderers, rapists, abusers, and people who find torture to be their favorite pastime. wow why doesn't that surprise me? of course you would forget about that, beacuse it has nothing to do with the point you are so inable to bring across. sure the military has definitely had people that didn't belong serving. but this country has people that shouldnt be allowed to walk its grounds, and coincidentally, they are. now how would you justify that? o that's right, because they are part of your civilized society, they don't count.
i look in the mirror everyday with a clear conscience knowing that i volunteered for the military so that i could fight for freedom for people such as yourself. and what would you do if the fighting were brought to the united states? you would be one of the cowards, hiding in a basement, praying to God the enemy doesn't take you, and then, ironically enough, you will be thanking God for the men and women that fight for you, so that you don't have to put yourself at risk. have you ever served our military? most likely not, as you are one of the more cowardly people that speaks in any of these forums. why don't you go to canada, where they are neutral? where you don't have to worry about being a coward? no one would ever know there, because they mind their own business. so you would never have to give away your secret. you're just too scared to man up and serve the country. why don't you take your talk of a "civilized society" and shove it up your a$$
please

Maybe timid tim isnt an american. If he doesnt like it here, maybe he should leave. See if he can indulge in freedoms in any other country. I bet not any of the ones we are currently fighting in. Perhaps he and others should instead realize that our american flag is raized on a pole each day to represent how proud and happy we are to be free. Well, it got there somehow. Not by lying on our backs waiting for it to come to us. It was fought for. Thank You to all past and present military for fighting for me. The song goes," I'm proud to be an american, where at least I know I'm free. I won't forget the ones who fought and gave that right to me."

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Diplomacy is your middle name today, so make the most of it while it lasts. It will be just what you need if you've been waiting for the right time to raise a tricky topic with you-know-who, and it will also come in handy if you're caught up in a potentially sensitive conversation with someone and you want to extricate yourself as smoothly as possible.
