I am the mother of a 14 year old and could never imagine leaving him home alone while I go away!

Right.. who would leave their 15 year old home alone? I have a 14 year old son, and I would never leave him home alone. The parents should be held accountable for leaving a child alone.

14 or 15 is too young, but by the time they are 16 or 17 you can't possibly track their every movement (unless you plan to lock them in their rooms). I've left my kids "home alone" while we were "day tripping" or "overnighting", but they were 17 and 18 (and we had a police-officer friend that was a neighbor).

I've been calling the Pelham police to try and report a similar incident where the parents allow all sorts of illegal activities to take place with their MINOR CHILDREN (all under 18) and their friends running ramped but do they call me back? Why would they? TWO THUMBS WAYYY UP PELHAM POLICE!! TO THE SKYYYYY!!!!
