What do you all think about Charleston Healthcare and the people that work there?

most of the people that work there genuinely love the residents and care for them as if they were family. when someone dies, they cry. but a few are jerks that only look at dollar signs, and connie is a dumbass bitch. they would be better off without her. all she does is put down the staff and she's not even qualified.

What it means is simple, with the star rating of 2 which means it's rating is BELOW AVERAGE.Look closer to the Health inspections and you will see 5 gigs for problems that the inspectors found at the facility. 5 is 5 to many for a facility that cares for our elderly.

Does anyone know things about Danville Center for Health & Rehabilitation? It is the nursing home on 3rd street. I have a relative in there and I hate that place. The patients are treated badly by some staff (not all staff but some). It is really sad to see how the patients are treated and spoken to rudely. Most of them are not even aware of where they are but they do not deserve to be spoken to harshly or anything else. They need to be treated with more respect. The place stinks and you can smell it as soon as you walk in the door.

excuse me, but Joyce IS still the DON and will probably stay there till she dies. she's the best thing that ever happened to that place. she loves those old people like they were family.

as far as the 5 star rating goes it was not related to poor care. and the survey issues for the last 15 years have only been for paperwork there have been no care related deficencies, citations, or complaints validated. health inspections for dietary have been 100% for the last 10 years, and OSHA inspections have also been without incident! so miss goody2shoes since ur so smart and can obviously look this stuff up, maybe u should get sumone 2 tutor u on what all the pretty writing means!

Don't get mad at the messager I did not rate the place! The Federal Gov. did, I didn't give it a BELOW AVERAGE they did, get your house in order before you blow your chest out 5 problems were noted not 1 or 2. but 5. Every week we see an ad for new CNA's but thats a different story.

I work at Charleston and for anyones info I try to keep all my patients clean and happy, i can't belive anyone that would second guess our work. Everyone that I work with tries their hardest to make sure of patient care, and comfortability.

No anger just stating the facts as reported by the last survey, I didn't do the survey the State did, as reported by the survey they were given a BELOW AVERAGE RATING. That to me or anyone else would be a consideration before I placed a family member there. Placement in a 2 star facility or a 5 star facility. I'll chose the 5 star facility.

I have not said anything bad about the staff! I think the LPN's and the CNA's deserve the best pay possible and then some. I have said the State in the survey have found problems not a lie or false information it's a fact look it up as I have said 2 Stars veruses 5 Star, it's that simple either you use the info or not.If it was my family I would pick yhe best.
