I feel so bad for the person that hit this child, I am sure they will have to live with an horrible nitemare the rest of their life, The parents should be put in jail, This child is always out in the road and numerous times have I about hit them, they play in the road after dark and you can not see them and parents are always no where to be found. I have tried to find the parents before to tell them the risk their child is in and couldn't. I hate this so bad.... this childs life is in danger for the stupidity of parents not caring about where their children are. I understand accidents happen but this was a accident waiting to happen for a while now!! I hope child protective services inveastigates real well!!

I hope someone told the police that, because the lady that accidentally hit that little boy is taking it very hard, she can not talk for a minute without crying, her heart is just broke and of course i am sure she feels there was more or something she could have done. But we all know kids are quick

I hope 'disqusted' goes to church and gets their life straight. Things like this need to be in Gods hands. This was Gods will, and instead of gossiping about all this, we should be praying for Gods will in this whole thing. God can work miracles, we just all need to be praying.

Gob bless you, I do go to church, I have been up all night praying for this child and the lady that hit him, I hope and pray this child is okay and things do happen for a reason I am a firm believer but just face the fact some people are not responsible enough to have children, I believe God can work miracles and I have seen it happen numerous times, and in hopes he will with this child that has not even had enough life to know what life is about besides running and playing and enjoying life, I just pray for the lady that hit this child because I am sure it will be life changing and I hope God can heal her from this, accidents happen but I still believe the parents are to blame, God forgive me if I am wrong. I will let the investigaters answer that. That is not my job. I am just heart broken by this because I really feel for this lady that has been put in a life changing situation by irresponsible parents. If you drive this street very often you would completely understand how this could have happened . There are alway children playing out in the road at all times of the day and it is like they haven't been tought to watch for vehicles, they hardly ever move you have to stop and wait for them to move. When it is dark I am always so scared to drive down the street because you never know when children will pop out of no where in front of you.

God gives you the will to be smart enough to keep your precious children out of the road. That is why we have CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES, since some parents do not use the will God gave them. This was not God's will for the child to be hit by a car. It was the parents ignorance. You "aggravated" better get yourself in church and listen to what the preacher is preaching.

Thank you so much for the prayers, it has broke her heart. She has called the police station and UK hospital many time since last night trying to find out the little guys condition but has found out very little , but there was an article in the paper today I think will bring her some peace of mind.

Never mind I seen it in the Danville Advocate, yes that is a relief to see it was not life threatening injuries but I just pray the parents on this street become more aware of where there children are now or parents anywhere for that matter, please let your friend know our prayers are with her and don't feel the blame, it was a accident waiting to happen and she just happen to be the unlucky one that has to deal with the pain, Everyone on this road that I was around last night there first guess was a child got hit when we seen the police because we talk about how much of a problem it is and one day it was going to happen, let God relieve the pain in her heart she will feel for a long time coming, hopefully child protective services will investigate and something there will help her peace of mind as well.....From now on I am calling the police anytime a see a child out in the street when I am driving through there and maybe they will do something with these parents that are not being responsible for there childrens lives.....I wish I would have earlier now but whats done is done I can't change the past but I can impact the future hopefully!

And disgusted from winchester who seems them all the time so where do you really live? That woman her name is Marsha Taylor was driving over 45 mph in a 25 mph zone. The parents do take care of sam very well and he was being watched. Again they dont know how sam is going to pull through this being told by a neurosurgeon that they dont know if he will wake up and is in critical condition so please call the hospital and get facts!

I am the one that made a comment about a DRUNK HITTING MY DAUGHTER on amnews. I am not saying that I know what happened, or if she was/was not impaired. That is for someone else to decide. I was just stating that IF she was, do NOT count on the courthouse for support. Jerry Curtis hit my child in December, and all he got was a DUI (and he plead guilty to that. While my daughter just had her FINAL surgery(hopefully) 5 weeks ago. As well, someone said that I was on drugs, not watching my child when her accident occurred----SO NOT TRUE! She was taking trash out at 6 pm, and I was 5 months pregnant, DID NOT AND DO NOT DO DRUGS.

GOD BLESS THIS CHILD AND LET HIM RECOVER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE

I understand you are angry right now, but this lady feels horrible and emotionally she is a wreck, you said all that bad stuff about her on the Danville Advocate comments like she was a beast, and you need to stop telling stories that aren't true, she was not speeding. Even the witness told that the little boy darted out in front of her and she could not have missed him, and the witness told police that SHE WAS NOT SPEEDING, and I know this for a fact was told to the police by their #1 witness. I am sure the family is devastated but so is the driver. She has called numerous times checking on him and she will continue to do so. She prays non stop and has asked everyone she knows to pray for Samuel, not her. And I promise you she needs prayer just as much with the state she is in right now. You stated she didnt even step foot out of her SUV, and you know why? Of course you don't, you would rather make her look bad. She was in total shock and couldn't even stand up to get out of her SUV, the cop was standing right there and if alcohol was involved he would have known right away, you are talking about a lady who has worked at a hospital for many many years, drugs are not her thing. So you need to stop all that BS. And since you must have been right there with that kid while he was playing and getting hit in the road in the dark, you would have known she was not fine, she couldn't and didn't even driver herself after it happen, thats how shocked she was, and when I talk to her now all she does is cry. So get the f*ck off her being a smartass and blamimg her

She was not doing 45 in a 25, So who determined this? And the #1 witness is on report saying that she was not speeding and there was no way she could have avoided Samuel
