I had a check come back in the amount of 70 bucks. I went to the county attorneys office and paid it off plus the extra hundred dollars. They said they no longer dismiss these when they're paid before the court date so I was wondering what's gonna happen when I go to court? This is a first offense an I don't have a criminal record. The lady at the court house said that they'd make me take a check writing class. So, my question is does anyone know how much this check writing class costs and how long do they give you to take it? Will they also put me on kap? If they do give me kap does anyone have an idea of how long I will be on it? Any help would be much appreciated as I really don't know what to expect. I paid the check off the day I got the subpoena.

You had paid yours off before it went to the county attorney though... I didnt have the money at the time to go and pay it off before it was turned in. I have a court date next month and was wondering typical procedure. Like kap and the check writing class.

I would think that the county attorney's office could advise you as to what the "typical procedure" is.
