Just an interesting fact or two.... the paper said Dr. Williams was the #1 doctor in the state of KY for scripts for Xanex, Klonopin, etc...#1 in the state!!! He had patients from counties from all over the state!... which includes people driving almost 2 hours to see a psychiatrist. Which theres 20 of in every big city. Oh and he had 42 patients a day... hmm, when you have mental problems arent you supposed to be atleast given an hour? to talk?? on average his patients were getting 5-7 minutes... and nothing sounds like its his fault? Oh your right... he didnt pull the trigger but he supplied the BULLETS.

I have been a patient of dr William's for 5 years and I had been to many others before hime. You guys have no idea what kind of psychiasts are out there! He has been the only one that has ever been able to help me. You say 11 ELDERLY patients have died while under his care? Guess what? That is what happens to all people when they are elderly and it doesn't matter who their doctor is. Boy, they could have a field da with the nursing home doctors. It's also a proven faxt that people with mental disorders have an age span 10mto 15 years less than the average person. Don't bo to the bar and bu alcohol and blame the bar because you are an alcholic. This is one of the kindest most caring doctors I have ever met and as usual certain people get on here and try to drag him through the mud. His staff is weirdd, but he isn't.
For once, speak the truth, if he was such a bad doctor, he would have to strat turning away patients. His office would not always be full and not eveyone in the waiting room would be singing his praises.
Yeah they sing his praise and fill his waiting room so they can get some drugs.... its all about money honey... 95% of his patients are prescribed to xanex... freaking ridiculous. THAT is not good medicine.

For all of you who say he runs the "pill mill", I think you are forgetting that the reason he sees so many patients is because he is one of like two psychiatrist in the area. We don't have enough of them. Xanax is useful for several anxiety-type disorders, which are the most prevalent. I have worked with him at the hospital and my husband goes to him so I know him pretty well. He is very caring and shows his patients respect. No doctor is perfect but Dr. Williams has done a lot for our community and deserves some appreciation. People often misuse medication, if you take 4 blood pressure pills rather than 1 you are going to be in trouble. Thats the risk of being a psychiatrist, you prescribe pills that people like to abuse. One thing that I don't think anyone has mentioned is that Dr.WIlliams requires that his patients pass drug test before writing scripts. As far as behavioral therapy sessions with people, thats not Dr. WIlliam's job. If you need that, go see a Psychologist.

I think Dr. Williams is a good doctor, prescribed meds in the same regulated fashion as all other doctors, and would stop and listen to anything I had to say..even if he was in a hurry, he would stop and listen. There have been a large number of people from other areas but I am certain that there is a lack of doctor's available to them. Like Curious from London, I have panic and anxiety at times and when I do I need meds to help. I rarely take Xanax but I have and it is a good, fast acting drug for relief from a suffering hell that cannot be described to anyone that has never experience it. Xanax is not a crutch but it is a tool to use to get enough relief that you can function. Medicine is not to be overused and good common sense/control must be maintained. The Doctor should limit those patients that are new or he feels could be abusing any medicine prescribed. I don't see the benefit in punishing a doctor for trying to help, and I know Dr. Williams well enough to say that I don't believe he would deliberately harm anyone. The number of psychiatrists we have in this area is limited and the loss of another would be detrimental.

Thank you pro-williams I am truely glad some people seen the good side of Dr.Williams I went to him for 6 years and he was nothing but a great doctor he listen to what you had to say and took his time to answer whatever questions you needed answered. And another thing I seen him do if you came in his office messed up and fallen out of the chairs he would dismiss you on the spot!!And another good thing he would not perscribe pain meds dont even ask he was very much against that,so if he had been tryen to really hurt someone he could have fixed up one hell of a cocktail. But as far as what a person done with therre meds once they left his office was out of his control. And big deal if they came from other counties these people had a right to choose whoever they wanted to be there doctor they were paying customers thats like saying if you are not from mercer county you cant see our doctors, people just like to put there 2 cents worth where its not wanted if you wanna talk about or gossipp pick something that concerns you.Dr.Williams did not tell these people to go out and buy street drugs and take them on top of there xanaxs and I can guarntee there was more in these people systems than just perscribed xanaxs, everone knows that!!Pick on Dr.Noe if you wanna pick on somebody,or what are you people waiten on for him to get busted and then stick your nose where it dont belong again!!!!!!!!!!AMEN

I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for 3 1/2 yrs and may God be with the man that has helped so many, This Dr. is no more responsible for these deaths than the liquor store attendant is for the drunk drivers that wreck causing innocent people to lose their lives , or the restaurants that have all you can eat buffets, we all know high blood pressure, high chlosterol and other health issues doesn't become their responsible when we choose to eat all we want off the buffet.
We are responsible for our own actions and if one chooses to mix and misuse medications its not the prescribers fault. Every medical office that opens the doors are gonna have druggies come in and it takes time to figure some out. My routine visit with my Dr. was check in , be called back for urine specimen and then see the Dr, from the moment I walked thru his door I was always greeted with a smile, a sincere smile and then a comment its good to see you Kathy, how are you doing , how are things going . We would discuss what was on my mind , and always discuss my medications and if it wasnt right make changes or omitt. I had alot happen in my life that became overwhelming for me and things I couldn't control that started consuming my every thought, my days was filled with worry, pain and emotions that I couldn't get under control , I looked forward to just falling asleep so I had peace in my heart and mind, after making the decision to go to a psychiatrist and meeting with Dr. Williams , I was then able to start understanding and dealing with my burdens, it wasnt only medication that helped me , it was someone truly listening and hearing me . Dr. Williams to me was such a blessing in my life and I will continue to stay strong in support for him. I can't even begin to imagine the burdens he took home with him from all he heard from people he cared about, he did not fail anyone , they failed him. They made their choice and ones left behind should not gain profit from it. Thank You Dr. Williams for your kindness, thoughtfulness, sincereity and dedications to us that came to you in a time of need. On my behalf , I couldn't have chose a more caring and helpful Dr.
May god give you strenghth to see this thru. Those who wrongly judge you will also be judged one day before God.

I'm sorry but turning people with psychological problems and/or addiction loose with a potentially deadly coctail is not therapeutic or even intelligent.
If someone were obviously troubled, would you hand them a loaded gun?
I disagree. I am Bipolar, anxiety and panick attacks and if you have ever had a panic attack you feel like your having a heart attack..But anyways people with psychological problems need medication to try to have normal lives. I agree that yes some ppl don't have nothing wrong with them and they make the ones who do need help hard to get help. Sorry if I offended you but some ppl do need medications like klonopin, etc.

Bullsh!t!! He prescribed 3 to 4 xanax a day. IF the ppl took them correctly, they wouldn't have overdosed!!! These ppl decided to take a lot more than that PLUS took other pills/drugs on top of it. It's not his fault. You can't overdose on xanax alone. It will only make you sleep. You have to mix it with other pills/drugs to overdose/die!!
