I have found they just like to hang out, play video games and listen to music, skateboard or football just basically hang out at home and have some friends over.

Think about it, just what would a 14 yr old boy want? Whats on 14 yr old boys minds? 18 yr old strippers!!!1 Throw a party, rent 3 strippers, and have a nice day!

You people are so stupid. This person really wanted some good ideas for her 14 year old's birthday party. I think they sound like a good parent. And you idiots tell her to get alcohol, strippers and other ignorant stuff. I wish I could help you out but around here there is not much to do. Why not just ask your child what they would like and if it is reasonable go with that. I'm sure your child will appreciate whatever you decide. Don't pay any attention to these idiots on here. The sad thing is these people are probably serious and probably have children of their own and that's how they celebrated their children's birthdays. And people wonder why so many of our children end up the way they do. Good luck to you and happy birthday to your child.

There are quite a few kids that age that love to skate and or the lazer tag at Finleys. Take them all bowling that is fun too. I used to take my older two kids and their friends and forged a lifelong love of bowling for several kids who had never been. My little one loves to bowl too.

Buying the newest and the best of everything when it comes out is the very reason the people in our country are going broke now. My son still has a playstation 2 and is very thankful for it. And it was bought 2nd hand about 4 years ago. You need a little lesson in thrift.
