The kid driving the van was 13yrs old. Had no reason to be out driving. My cousin was a passenger in the car that hit the van and got hurt pretty bad. The driver of the car ran b/c he had warrants out on him. If the other passenger of the car didnt get my cousin out from being stuck in the windshield he would have burnt up along with the car.

The driver decided to run 70mph down 300, fly through the stop sign and t-boned the van. Im not giving any names, but my cousin was taken to Uk, suffered major burns on his leg, had to have stitches in both eye lids and was cut up every where else.

what in sam hell was a 13 year old doing driving down the road anyway??? no excuse for the other careless driver, but still!!!! do the parents of junction city not care or pay attention to where their children are??? that is sad to think a child would be driving. if that is the case, who is at fault, the child in the van or the car who's driver ran??? i know if u have no insurance it's automatically your fault, wonder how they'll handle this. i'm shocked and even sickened. that child had no business driving!!!! and for The other guy... i'm glad he's not my friend. he was more worried about his freedom and not going to jail than making sure his friend wasn't killed!!! he's a sick, sad individual. how pathetic do u have to be these days, i mean really??? guy almost kills his buddy by driving like a maniac, then runs so he don't go to jail over an old warrant! what a great guy! if he had been man enough to take care of his problems when thet happened, he wouldn't have had a warrant to worry about. lets just add some to that!!! i hope they catch him, lock him up, and charge the sam hell out of him!!! damn i'm glad my friends aren't like him, sick f*ck!

Parents of Junction City could care less about their kids. They stay pilled, doped up and drunk all the time.

Yeah, I came up on the wreck on the way back from Big Blue Madness. I saw two cars on fire, but do not know much other than that...we got there right before the fire trucks put them out. Traffic was routed to Old 127 (I think) which then went back around to the highway. A helicopter was landing at the site to take someone, but I dont know what happened after that. Hope everyone was okay...

i have known one of the police officers in junction city ever since i was a baby and i saw the wreck. it was the van that caught on fire, not the truck. there was no thirteen year old driving a vehicle, and there were two men who ran from the accident. one was a young african american man and one was a young caucasian man. they ran directly past my house right after the wreck happened. the van didn't burn completely, it just charred a little bit, which is very sad because there were people hurt when it caught fire. my family and i are praying for all the ones involved and hope that everything turns out for the best. running from the scene of an accident knowing that you badly injured an innocent person is low in my opinion, warrants or no warrants. they should be adults and learn how to face the consequences caused by thier actions, just like everyone else has to. i hope god is with each and every person involved in it, both the drivers and passengers as well as thier families. and to the person who said that people in junction city don't care about thier children, you should think before you say things like that. i happen to live in junction city, although im not originally from here, and i love my children with all of my heart. i am not nor will i ever be on drugs or pills of any kind. my children are kept safe and protected by myself and thier father. they are and always will be our heart, soul, pride and joy. don't judge a person's parenting skills when you don't even know them just because you dont like the town they live in or someone who lives in that town. i wouldnt be here either if i had a choice, but it is good enough for now. it's close to my parents, and i have a roof over my children's heads and food in thier stomachs, and even though i live there i have a job and i take care of them in all aspects of thier lives, and so does thier father.
