adipex is weight loss pill, and you will loose weight. I lost about 30 pounds in 3 months, but there are side affects, you cna only take it if you keep loosing wieght and after a while it tapers off and looses it affects. Also, it gives you high anxiety and blood pressure. After you stop taking it, you will gain EVERY bit of the weight back. Adipex makes you not hungry, but like i said, they only prescribe in month by month and you have to loose 5 pounds or more a month in order to keep getting it. Im telling you from personal expierence, ITS NOT WORTH IT

I have taken it before and lost the weight fine. I lost about 30 pounds. It has been three years and I havent gained but 2 lbs back. You are going to gain it back if you eat like a hog after you go off of it. While you are on it you are supposed to start eating healthy and keep it up after you go off of it. lay off the pop and fast food! So yes it is worth it if you are willing to make lifestyle changes after going off of it.

Just wondering if this drug is simular to Adderall? Although Adderall is not a diet pill & is used for ADD, it sounds like it has the same effects. Am I right????

I am presently taking this diet pill that was perscribed by DR. Shazad. I weighed 299 lbs @ the start of this medication and now weigh 276. I had hypertention before I started this medication that I was already taking medication for. I also had problems with anxiety, which still comes and goes. I would like to know what are the other side effects that adipex causes and why have other doctors stop perscribing it. Just curious to know. Beside that I have not been regurly checked for weight loss.

Doctor Garner is accepting new patients. The pills are very helpful. All he asks is that you lower your calorie intake. Which is easy to do with the Adipex. They have worked for me.
what is his office number?

I have taken adipex for weight lose, and I am taking them now. I take them to maintain my weight because of an auto accident and can not gain much weight because of the pressure it puts on the hardware I have in my body. My doctor has me on them for 3 months at a time because of the side effect and it will show up as a narcotic. Some even say it is very addictive, It is bad for your heart and if you have high blood pressure, or anything like that you shouldn't take it.(Just telling it like it was told to me).
In studies, Adipex side effects included:

* Unusual happy feelings (euphoria)
* Unusual unpleasant feelings (dysphoria)
* Dry mouth
* Insomnia
* Hyperactivity
* Restlessness
* Unpleasant taste
* Diarrhea
* Constipation
* Sexual problems
* Dizziness.
Good luck

I took Adipex and it really did work and I lost all the weight I wanted to, but when I stopped the med I gained it all back plus some. So I feel I threw all my hard earned money out the window for nothing. People think twice before using it because it really does have side effects too. I got my from Mt Vernon Weight Loss Center.
