It's time for Atheist and other minority religious groups to put an end to religious bullying by Christians. This is a nation of many kinds of religion and all beliefs and all needs equality and respect for all not just one group. Religion does not need to be in government, that is the reason we have separation of church and state in our constitution. If we are going to allow church in our government then they need to pay taxes like the rest of us. No tax payer should never have to feel uncomfortable or belittled by their beliefs by the government. We are all equal tax paying citizens and all deserve the same respect.

Now it is the land of the free "get out." We needs to accept individuals of all religious beliefs. This land is your land, this land is my land. From California to the New York Islands. Like Woody Guthrie said.

You people with your holier-than-thou opinions can go ahead. Just don't let us with other opinions be silenced. It's a free country.

Feel free to quit posting anytime you don't like an opinion that is not like yours . In the land of the free you are also free to leave it if you don't like it .

How can standing up for equality and respect for all people not moral? As far as Biblical, that is something has no place in government, as they are ordered to stay neutral.

What you believe or don't believe is your decision! I have a right to voice my opinion just like you do. If you don't like it then that is your problem not mine! Have a good day!

I never said that you didn't have a the right to voice your opinion. I ask the question of how is asking for equality and respect for all people and beliefs immoral?

You said that Christians bully you and you want churches to pay taxes. I am a Christian and I am telling you that churches do pay taxes, at least the church I go to does. Christians don't bully athiests. Athiests got together and decided to sue for the right to make government buildings take down the Ten Commandments, and also got prayer and the pledge taken out of schools. That is not equality that is control, and it is one sided for athiests. If you want respect from others then treat them with respect which you have not done so far.

Attention So Called Atheist: I got a news flash for you. You say you don't believe in God, well ok tell me the answer to this. For you to not believe in a GOD, then you have to reconize the possiblty that there is one. So there is NO such thing as an atheist, just someone that has never experienced the true love & forgiveness of God. We are praying for you Mr. Smith
