There was a small comment about the accident on Route 63. I understand that the man that caused the accident had been driving without a license on numerous occasions and arrested but not jailed. He left the scene an then a female relative, not sure if it was mom or wife, reported the car had been stolen. Both are in jail. An 18 year old girl was killed. Her fiance, mom and dad were critically injured.

All I will say is that the parents that were arrested are fine people. They just made a mistake at first, The police were still not aware of who the driver was when the parents walked through the doors and turned their son over to the authorities.

What is the definition of "fine people"? For being fine people they all have quite a few judgements against them on the Vermilion County court site.

Who called the police and reported the car stolen, the mother or the wife. The paper said a female caller?

Sorry, they knew the car was not stolen and they covered it up even though a young girl was killed. Not nice people.

Them Dukes did what any fine respectin parents would do, they lied to save their kid from a murder charge that he so cowardly ran away from.
He murdered a youngin, and they lied about it!
If he lived next door to you and he ran over your toddler, or your grandchild, and they said, Oh he didn't do it, how would you feel abouts them people then, huh? skanks

As I go back and read these comments, much comes to my mind. Like, yes, the DUKES are fine ppl, NO DOUBT. And damn, I sure wish I could be like YOU and know just exactly how I would react in such tragic circumstances! For those parents...you have to stop and THINK, this is their child, and they are slammed w/all this info. crammed in probly 60 seconds....and making a decision in the next 60 seconds (WHICH IS CROWDED W/FEAR, PANIC, ADRENALINE, NAUSEA, SHOCK AND ANGER,ETC.) And most certainly, an hour later, you can actually think straight and make the right decision.
But, what bothers me now is the fact that he got in trouble for leaving the scene?! I thought we could do that nowdayz?? The woman that hit and killed Jody Wood did. WTF?

Cha Cha I think you don't know what you are talking about. The woman that hit Jody did not leave the scene. Besides don't you have something better to do?

Is that what Greg's kids said as they died at his hands. He should not be aloud to walk on this earth. Why won't someone give him wha he deserves?

I never said I had no use for the Millers I don't even know them personally. Just from on here and I don't know anything about Greg or the murder. I've only lived here a short time. I'm not supporting the person who hit Jody. It is a sad accident. Too bad he didn't stay at the bar that night and wandered drunkenly across the highway in front of a car. Too bad it's so dark there and too bad the person driving wasn't paying enough attention to know that someone was going to walk in front of the car. I didn't know Jody, but I am sorry he got killed and sorry for his friends and family
