Who are your childrens idols? Who are your role models? And do you want these people in charge? They are..they are part of the wealthy..I'll argue that they are too wealthy. Yes, too wealthy. I don't believe the government should neccessarily take their money, because it is the very people now hurting from this economic recession that put them all there. Just look at where the People of the United States has put their money over the last few decades. Who are the very rich? Who owns Home Depot, Barnes and Nobel, Macy's, Wal Mart, McDonalds, Trader Joes, Paramount, record labels...and I could go on??? And how much do they pay their workers? What type of healthcare do they have? How much vacation time??

And I could go on..you can add to the list of people or companies...Together, and alone, they hold billions..why do we choose to give soooo much of our money to them? Why do we pay so much to be entertained? For advertising? Indirectly, we pay for outsourcing. For exploiting the Chinese, Korean, and other third world countries as well of ourselves for cheap labor. We pay pennies, and people die because they don't have health care, a house. Some people have several homes..some live in cardboard huts (that is weird to me, no matter who you believe in. God, Allah, Jesus..whomever or whatever..

We have so many millionaires, and now, billionaires. A billionaire today is like a millionaire was in the 1970's...you could make a list of them within a day..Try to make a list of millionaires in the world today...Hell, my neighbor is, my ex is..today a million dollars doesn't go as far as it did in 1970..Where is true inflation folks? We need to buy American made products, from small companies that pay their workers well (a working wage that allows one to live with basic needs met), gives them good vacation, offers them a great place to work with good health care. Listen to people who love their employer or own their own company and have good values..Pay for the services of those around you..help the entreprenuer that rewards his work force and believes in the American Dream and sharing the wealth (without the government forcing them).

Pay attention to who you give your money, where your taxes are going, and who believes as you do before you vote for Mayor, City Council, Govenor, President of the United States. Yes, vote if you can. It was shown last election of President what the people can do. It is each persons responsibility to educate themselves and vote for the people running for office who best fit their owm beliefs of the American Dream. Don't jump on a bandwagon, read newspapers, web sites, blogs, listen to the news..Know what is going on and make good decisions and we can bring America Back!!!! Otherwise, we are gone folks..

You have some good points. There is a point that you scratch your head and ask yourself, "what is the U.S.s' Gross National Product? What are we producing that we sell overseas that brings money to the United States? We are a bunch of Consumers. Munch, Munch.Just look how fat some have become? LOL

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Libra

Remember that life isn't all fun and games: handle your responsibilities first, then plan how to have a good time. Your impulses, once you yield to them, will have a tendency to lead you further and further from where you need to be. Make sure you lock the door behind you before disappearing; when you're in this kind of mischievous mood, you probably won't want anyone else to know where you're going.
