To Agree With Agree: I've read you posting and am unable to grasp its tone and purpose. Are you sincere in your well wishes for the the Dot bride or are you taunting her? On one hand you acknowledge that Bill did something despicable. On the other hand you seem to be questioning the veracity of the story by suggesting that Bill's termination had nothing to do with the scandal. Who cares that you never heard of the Dot girl? Bill's State House friends had never heard of the other bride. What's your point - are you trying to be hurtful? Nothing you could say about Bill Bochnak could shock the Dot bride. Also, why allude to Bochnak's version of the story without stating what it is. It would be better for the Dot bride to know what Bochnak is saying about her instead of imagining the worst. It would also give her a chance to counter his story. Finally, why spread the word about Bill's upcoming promotion - what does that have to do with anything? Are you bragging on Bill's behalf?

I am friends with the Dot Bride and I never could understand what she saw in him. He looks like a cross between Frank Purdue and Bill Maher. The Dot bride didn't know it, but my friends and I called him Eeyore behind his back. He was always whining about something like the troubles of Lynn Classical, his tooth ache, his chronic fatigue sydndrome, and then of course the infamous a*s ache that required him to bring a donut wherever he went. Good luck to his wife and kid, they'll need it.

I find it sad that Dot Bride has similar luck in her friends that she has had w/ Mr Bochnak. Her friends (Good Riddance) did not seem to like him very much either and didn't let her in on it. Mr B had a whole life that he didn't tell her about. He may have even had a third life that led to this infamous "sore backside".

Dot Bride should step back and take stock in herself about the people that she surrounds herself with.

To unfortunate situation - you can't be serious comparing the Dot bride's friends to Bill Bochnak. He may have been a whiner and an odd looking guy but her friends had no idea that he was leading a double life and was so deceitful until that week in July. At which point, her friends informed the Dot Bride right away. I am not going to tell any of my friends to break up with someone because they whine or are odd looking.
Although I do not agree with your comparison, I do find your third life reference pretty funny.

I find it ridiculous that you are comparing my friends to Bill Bochnak and his sociopathic behavior. My friends are wonderful, intelligent and caring people. Therefore, you could not be more wrong when you say that I have similar luck with my friends. I could not be luckier with the circle of friends that I have. You obviously do not understand good riddance's posting.

I take offense to your statement that I should step back and take stock in myself about the people that I surround myself with. I surround myself with wonderful people who are fun, smart, decent and normal human beings. I'm not sure if you're a friend of Bill Bochnak or someone who just writes postings online, but if you do consider him a friend you're the one who needs to step back and look at the people you surround with.

I hear that Billy is up for the Superintedent position in Lynn. Chip is really supporting his "second" son. Looks like the winds for bill have changed again.

Know I am weighing in well after the fact, but this was just too sad and strange to ignore. First, am sorry to the woman that was most affected by this. Am sure you are long over the hard part. Hope you're doing well. I knew Bill a long time ago and can honestly say I'm appalled but not surprised. Most everything that came out of his mouth in those days was a lie, even when it wasn't necessary. Basic- dumb -obviously untrue stuff said as if that were the only reasonable answer. He would back himself into a corner and still not let up the lying, each getting more ridiculous the more desperate he became. It's a compulsion, a disorder. I don't think he's evil, just not the smartest, and obviously clinically ill. So, I don't think that the ex-bride is fabricating in any way and I agree that he did this without consideration of the horrendous consequences to anyone but himself. In his mind, there is always another story to explain the last one away. It will catch up with him and it will ultimately be his undoing. If not this time, then eventually.

A mutual friend of mine and Bill's from high school sent me to this site. Neither of us have kept in close contact with Bill for a number of years with the exception of a rare occasion or wedding.

That being said, I find this all a little hard to swallow knowing Bill for as long as I have. There are also about twenty variations of this story that I have heard, all of them different from the one before. As always, I have a feeling that the truth lies somewhere in between.

I also feel that the number of people that chimed in defaming Bill's character over a two year span is a bit extreme. I cannot agree or disagree with any one particular post in full but cannot believe Bill would be that malicious toward anyone. He has always had a bit of difficulty telling people anything they did not want to hear, please see his shortened career in politics, but being engaged and playing the role with two people at the same time? Bill is not that good or that malicious.

To Verbal Kint: There is only one story. Bill was engaged to two women at the same time. I participated in the marriage prep class with the supposed to be Dot bride and Bill Bochnak. Bill was present and actively participated in the events of the marriage prep class. Unknown to anyone at the time, Bill was engaged to someone else, his eventual wife. Bill married his current wife two months after he participated in these marriage classes with the Dot bride. So yes, it is true that Bill is malicious; I witnessed it with my own eyes and no it is not extreme that these postings have gone on for two years considering the damage he caused to many lives. Also, the postings are not defaming his character since the statements concerning his actions are true.
