YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT 'WOMEN' LIKE ME GO THROUGH. I certainly didn't accuse you of abusing me, you were saying how stupid women were and how to get their abuse cards. I said, let me abuse you and see what 'US WOMEN' go through. I'm certainly NOT SICK, NOR A MAN BASHER. I've been through plenty of abuse, and any man that does things like this to a women, not need to have a life. Sounds like you need a life too. I have a very good and happy life and I'm only hoping that Donna finds the same.

I was the victim of verbal, emotional and physical abuse at the hands of my (ex) wife, and while I feel for you, at least people believe women when they claim abuse. I was thrown out, denied access to my kids and spent a fortune on lawyers fees to clear myself of her fake charges and finalize my divorce. I had to endure supervised visitation with my children where any physical contact was forbidden for nearly FIVE YEARS, living only a mile away from them I could see them a total of 2 hours a month under those conditions. I was shunned by friends and family based upon her claims which were all found to be false. There are two sides to every story, remember that.

Why would you go out with a man like that in the first place? Forward thinking when starting a relationship in paramount .The female gender seems to have a problem sometime distinguishing between infatuation and love. There are always tale tale signs of an abuser from the start and a leopard never changes their spots , my advise to you move on and be more selective in your next encounter!
Quoted text[
HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A STUPID WOMAN????????? Let me abuse you like I was and see who the stupid one really is!!!!!! Actually you're the stupid one not understanding what all is involved in living with abuse. Let me take all your money so you have none to live with, let me move you away and isolate you from friends and family, let me tell you how stupid and ignorant you are about 5 times a day, let me rape you every night after saying no, let me slam you against things, pull my fist back and tell you how much I'd like to bash your face in, let me take your car away from you so you can't go anywhere. How do you think you'd like that???? Actually your probably an abuser trying to hide too Quoted text ]

I realize there are men that go through the same thing. I also know there are 2 sides to each story, but I just get tired of men complaining that women are stupid and just try to get the man going so that they can play the abuse card. That's not how it is. And as for the person saying to be aware from the beginning.....the person sucks you into their web. Once you get there, it only gets worse. I was taken 3 hours from my family. I was told I could go back and visit anytime I wanted. When it came time to go visit, there never was enough money for gas, there never was enough time, I even heard, they aren't your family, they don't love you anymore, this is your family now. We went on vacation, and drove within 1/2 mile from my parent's house and he still wouldn't stop so that I could see them. Abuse is not a fun way to be living, my kids are still suffering from my 13 years of abuse. After the split, I lost all the mutual friends, they all seemed to have sided with him. He had his stories about me, but only I know what actually happened in that house, and that's all that counts. I've moved on, and been divorced 4 years. I just want other men to realize, it's not always the "stupid womens" fault.

Rattatattat wrote: According to the federal Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), he most certainly must relinquish his firearms, and it is NOT at the judge's discretion. The only discretion would be to restore his right to bear arms once the PFA is lifted. So he's screwed at least until this is resolved. That said, the article is quite one-sided in its approach, making him look like the sole abuser here. But if one looks closely at what was said, it's more likely that this is a case of mutual abuse, as happens in about 50% of the cases where domestic violence occurs. It seems to me that they BOTH need help, and it would be a tragedy for the kids if it isn't approached that way. I beg to differ with you. I think statistics show that victims of domestic violence are typically women and they are NOT abusers. Yes there certainly are cases where the woman is the abuser, but most cases involve men abusing the woman-not a 50/50 fault at all. As a young mother I was abused by the father of my children. He kicked doors in, police were always there. It was horrible. I was too young and blinded to see the light. It took the police threatening to take my kids for me to get out, and I thank GOD everyday that I made it out alive. He is still a creep, and because of the kids I still have to deal with his sorry behind. I hope Donna has the strength to get out.

...this guy is beyond repair. Two solutions to ending this: 1) she defends herself using deadly force, or 2) a bus loaded with Pennsylvania's most violent sex offenders breaks down in front of his house when his wife and children aren't home. They overthrow the guards and invade the cop's house en masse. They find this guy in the shower and violate him like a parking meter in New York City.
I would hope for 2 but would be satisfied with 1.

Sources say that the following statement, "Bloodbath was imminent," has been stricken from the court's record, as it was discovered during a cross examination that the plaintiff did not know the definition of the word, imminent.
