Nurture him? What is he 5 years old or something? It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that he failed to appear to his probation officer because he did 2 things wrong.#1. smoked marijuanna.#2. failed to notify his probation officer of his new address. Those are major violations. He's an adult now in case you forgot. His own attorney stated that being in jail is the best thing for him. It's pretty simple. Follow the rules and no one will bother you. Not graduating this past spring and now these violations are really going to hurt him once the "real" court case is brought up.

3 years.. WTF.. see this is where the law fails us. You get 10 years for weed and 3 years for killing someone. This kid doesnt understand what he did. instead continues bad behavior.. sorry but this kid needs more like 20 to life.

<quoted text>I agree with you 100%. The dead mans life was worth only 3 years. America has its problems because we are WAY to soft on crime. Most of the time, the punishment doesn't fit the crime. In the middle east, he would have been convicted, put to death, and decaying in the ground by now!
well i wouldnt use the Middle East as a good example. These people are like 3000 years behind modern civilization..lol

But yeah.. our system is screwed either way.. too many flaws and money will buy you out of any situation.

I think this guy knows what he did was wrong, but just simply doesn't care to make an effort at turning his life around. His lawyer probably feed him a line of B.S, saying something like, you will get off easy, or don't worry, you weren't the only one invovled. What the lawyer failed to stress was the fact that he should be doing everything in his power to show evidence of reform. Well, if he is that stupid not to make a change on his own maybe spending the time in jail will give him a good kick in the a$$.

i agree 100%. he kills a man and gets out in 3 freakin years? are you kidding me? what about the 3 boys from the kutztown incident? they're all looking at 20 plus for their roles in that murder. this situation is no different from that! he should definitely get 20 to life!

Still didn't get it right. After Richard Higgins III was punched by Roscioli, he managed to wrestle him to the ground, at which time Harrison jumped on top of the III, while the juvenile was kicking him in the head. The father was trying to get Harrison off of his son, when he turned around and tackled him to the sidewalk so hard that his head bounced, then he Harrison walked around his body laying on the ground doing a war hoop. This after Higgins III, told them all his father had medical problems and couldn't be hit, at which they replied I don't give a f***. No withness actually saw who threw the first punch, Of course the defendents said Higgins did. So there was no squaring off just a brutal beating that Mr. Higgins did not deserve.
