When I was in Woodrow a few years back we couldn't win a damn game because he wouldn't let them use more than one play! He's awful!

Interested parent is right, just a statement not a fact. Who knows what will happen in the coming year. I think he is a good man and will do what it takes to turn things around.

There are huge tensions between Lilly and the assistants and the kids are picking up on it. I used to make fun of his tactics when he was at Shady (midnight madness, sleeping in gym, wearing full game unis vs WWHS in a scrimmage, etc) and I was upset when he got the WWHS job but was pleasantly suprised about the changes he made. However, there are huge problems now because I refuse to believe that a school with Beckley's enrollment can be this bad.

A huge issue I have with him is weeding out the former WWHS players on his staff. He is down to two and for me that is unacceptable. He also ran off coach Lambert who was the best teacher of football at WWHS since Joel Hicks.

We need someone young and innovative who can relate to the kids and who displays Beckley's pride and traditions.

First of all i hope all is well with his health and all, but some things need to change. He quit the AD job yesterday thats great and whats going to happen next is he going to to quit coaching too i hope and if he do they need to put a beckley guy as the head coach I'm thinking Steve Kidd and Dale Stafford.

who are you to lecture us. most of us who have posted on here about Lilly are WWHS Alumni and supporters of the school and hate to see a proud history trampled on by an ego-maniac. I have paid my dues and my money of the years to support WWHS, but can not support what is going on their now with a loser coach and a principal with no gonads. I have dealth with both of them firsthand and am not going on hearsay.

i was a player when lilly first came to shady to coach and can tell you first hand that he is an ego maniac that will not listen to reason he actually cursed a teamate and friend of mine and kicked him off the team because he couldnt stay locked up for a week in the field house because he had a job at a local grocery store so he could pay for his school clothes and car insurance even called this kid a loser for not quiting his job this man shouldnt be allowed around children period in my opinion!

Funny the fans I see in the stands are the parents of the kids they are coaching??? The money they pay supports the program so if it were not for them??? Humm...really bad advice.
