This is a shame. It really makes me question whether or not I want to attend FWC or any COG anymore. I don't know what happened, but I have known JL and SP for many years. My family basically stayed at FWC because they did. I had no idea there was a problem with them. I realize they had "philosophical differences", but I for one cannot stand behind a church whose philosphy is like this. I wish everyone the best of luck. Now it's off to find a new church for me!

Ive been praying and wondering if he was in a tight spot and they were gonna get rid of him because he would be against it. Who fires a pastor!! pastor sam and jason are no longer there kw needs to be put out on his butt where he belongs when will someone step in and make this a church again they spend money in all the wrong places too what did they do with the suv they got, they donated it to someone im sure it was within the inner circle they seem to have a small group who benifits from thew church it needs to be addressed but what do you do people are to afraid to stand up and if they do noone will stand behind them i think it is horrible

Yes, it's true. I don't know what happened exactly. I just know I saw Jasons wife there in the church before it started then after church it was announced they are gone. Due to philosophical differences they said. They are not the only ones gone now. Not sure where to go, but not there.

I looked at the website and pastor peterson isnt on there anymore. What is going on!! God truly predicted all this. How many people will leave now? this is awful, what is this guy thinking

This is crazy. I hope this opens the eyes of the people who still attend there that something is wrong with PKW and his leadership. PSP and PJL were the only thing holding what was left of this church together. What will happen to the shcool now?

PK is and will do what he needs to, to spread his word of non bible beliefs. He is a true evil within wall of once blessed church, this is still God's church and he will be dealt with in god's time not ours, let him keep his great acting job up, if he was a true man of god he would nt fire someone for their believes, why where they hired to began with? The man has something to hide, and only a true believer can ask him face to face. PK is this God's word coming from your mouth or is it something else?
See those that choose to stay out of love for the church still believe God will come through and shine is love.
This is very sad, churches all over are failing out of greed and power. There is only one power and that is his Lord Jesus Christ. I don't doubt he will be the one who judges those doing wrong at FWC, watch and see who's butt is out on the street next.
Stand up and put out the evil that is casted, Let the love back in the church , Let the Lord guide you not the man!
Do you need a church to spread the gospel? NO! You need the true heart and love of our Lord!
I would hold church in the woods or on a mountain top ,and God would still be there for us all!

This morning before service Pastor Sam and Pastor Jason were fired by Ken Wright. Then the State Clown...Oops Oversear stated he would give them a church if they wouldn't make waves about this. Cleveland TN has proven that they are not about the gospel anymore! They are too busy with there own money making business to care what happens to the true heart of Christ's people! Christ said" my churches will be few" That is because they were never meant to be run by men who act as religous mafia. The church has but one leader JESUS CHRIST when he is not followed through the Holy Spirit this is the kind of wreckage that happens. Keep the faith, remember a church never saved a soul, only Jesus can do that! So we don't need FWC or KW or COG or any other denomination, just Christ in our hearts......May God Bless

Everybody that is a member of the Church of God, and has their membership with FWC and does not agree with what is happening there, needs to go to the state office this week with written statements requesting to have their memberships dissolved immediatley.. Money talks. Also, this church is now gonna fall, you cannot pay a 6 million dollar debt with 400 people,. Do you want your name on the membership list that is gonna owe this much money? The banks will be looking everywhere they legally can for this money when the church falls, and it will fall soon at this rate. Stupidity has reached new heights with this man, and to think I actually liked him. Just because you no longer attend the church means nothing, his pay is based on membership, not how many attend. Please have your memberships removed.

why is it that a situation must dissolve into crisis before people decide to take action? people were screaming from the rooftops trying to get someone (anyone!) to come awaken out of their stupor and see what type of man kw is. what do you all think the deacons were trying to prevent? exactly what is happening now at the church and i'm not talking about sp and jl. this isn't about them and anyone who has placed all their confidence in these men, still don't get it. you all are upset because these two men were fired today but you weren't upset about the false doctrine being preached. you weren't upset by the inappropriate actions of kw. but, oh, two men who should have stood up a long time ago and added their voices to those who were trying to save the church get the boot and now suddenly everyone sees kw and the administrative bishop as dangerous? welcome to 6 months ago.

Unfortunately to fix the problem, you must make it worst first. When the finances drop to $40,000 a month,

up his fat salary. For him nothing has changed. When there is not enough money to pay the mortgage and his salary

We have exhausted every possible appeal procedure and nothing has been done. If you want things to change, you

Thank you! Some people don't realize that God doesn't work the same way in every person or in every situation.

forewarning: you're going to think i'm harsh, but i'm just going to lay it out there. i'm well aware of the personal and professional situations of both sp and jl. that does nothing to lessen my feelings that the greatest action they could have taken was to stand up in a more vocal way sooner. people who were confused stayed at that church because they saw leaders like sp stay. they felt that if he was still there, then things must be ok and proceeded to skip along their merry way. i guess these people didn't realize sp was busy scheduling multiple meetings with an administrative bishop who has done nothing but prove himself incompetent and untrustworthy. let's be honest, who here honestly thinks the administrative bishop is sincerely interested in rectifying a situation he condoned? anyone...anyone...bueller?

as hard as this sounds, in my opinion, you cannot justify staying under the leadership of a man who is preaching a false doctrine and engaging in very questionable activity to say the least. perhaps this reveals an even larger problem of a corporate church. you have people who depend on the church for a livelihood to the possible detriment of it's very existence. to say that i cannot take a stand against things i disbelieve in because i may lose my job just does not sit well with me. i know, i know...easy for me to say. i really get that it's an awful situation for them to be in, but that doesn't change the fact that a stand must be made; sounds just a little too much like justification.
