It's Fall now so the leaves have turned there of course. The first shot showed the fall leaves and the second one, showing the 20 to 45000 (what a leap) showed all green trees everywhere. It wasn't even the same protest or rally. They manipulate, twist and lie all the time. They truly make me want to throw up. I just can't watch it. Guess that's what I get for having an education and a mind of my own. Dang it!! I'm not one of the herd!!! I very seldom watch Hannity, so I missed this. I did check it out & found that Hannity said (however much it pained him to do so) that Stewart was right. Has anyone ever watched a news segment where the superimposed information was wrong, misspelled or had some other error? Ever been watching when they say here's the video & then say - "well, that's not available right now" or oops that wasn't the right video etc. I understand the difference between out & out lies & goofs -- & anyone looking at Hannity's footage that night could have identified the large crowd that decended on DC & reported it. Fox knows that every word, period comma & undotted T is closely watched by numerous left wing groups so to blatently try to "fool" the public would be foolhardy. Now... anyone seen this? MSNBC Uses Fake,‘Sexy’ Photos of Sarah Palin on Air; Will Network Correct and Apologize? "Dylan Ratigan featured fake photos of Sarah Palin during a mocking segment on why Americans are fascinated with the former vice presidential candidate." important to remember several hosts....including Chris Matthews..mocked Hannity & he apologized. Entire comment: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/scott-whitlock/2... This was a funny goof though -- & although Brewer was "looking" right at Jackson - she went ahead and "read" the introduction as "Al Sharpton" LOL MSNBC's Contessa Brewer had an embarrassing slip-up Wednesday afternoon when she introduced Jesse Jackson by calling him Al Sharpton. "Joining me now to talk about this and the nation's real problem of joblessness, the Reverend Al Sharpton," Brewer said. "I'm Reverend, Jesse Jackson," Jackson replied. She was "reading" & the script was wrong (guess someone else wrote it for her) & just "perhaps" some editor prepared Hannity's video to go with his commentary. report with video of the goof: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/10/21/cont...

My idea of an open minded person is one who channel surfs. I like the way that SuddenLink puts the cable news side by side to make it easier.
If any channel is able to to give proof of wrong doing or questionable activities, then it makes no difference what channel. What people need to be able to discern is which parts are fact and which parts are opinion. There is a lot of opinion on all the channels in addition to facts.
However, there is also the concept of logical thinking in that after viewing/reading a variety of factual presentations that thinking people can come to only one conclusion or opinion. It really does bother me that the other channels are not also covering some of the stuff that Fox is covering until AFTER Fox covers it (which in itself is enough to make a person wonder why).
The perfect illustration is that other channels were not discussing ACORN until AFTER fox; it makes no difference to which people ACORN attaches itself. It needed to be investigated, the same way that Haliburton needed to be investigated during Bush's term (but never was investigated vigorously enough and never will be). We don't want any TV channel to be silent just because it doesn't want to creat problems for any president.
I've heard so many people say that all of the news is bad so they just don't bother to watch even the nightly news. Well, I hope they don't bother to vote too because they don't have a clue as to what is going on in this country or abroad. That kind of behavior is not going to improve conditions!

David E. Sanger, N.Y. Times, Nov. 14, 2009
"When President Obama visits China for the first time on Sunday, he will, in many ways, be assuming the role of profligate spender coming to pay his respects to his banker."
"That stark fact — China is the largest foreign lender to the United States — has changed the core of the relationship between the United States and the only country with a reasonable chance of challenging its status as the world’s sole superpower."
"The result: unlike his immediate predecessors, who publicly pushed and prodded China to follow the Western model and become more open politically and economically, Mr. Obama will be spending less time exhorting Beijing and more time reassuring it."
"In a July meeting, Chinese officials asked their American counterparts detailed questions about the health care legislation making its way through Congress. The president’s budget director, Peter R. Orszag, answered most of their questions. But the Chinese were not particularly interested in the public option or universal care for all Americans."
“They wanted to know, in painstaking detail, how the health care plan would affect the deficit,” one participant in the conversation recalled. Chinese officials expect that they will help finance whatever Congress and the White House settle on, mostly through buying Treasury debt, and like any banker, they wanted evidence that the United States had a plan to pay them back."

It makes me feel all cozy and warm and secure (?) knowing that Communist China will be funding our healthcare.
Gosh, I hope China doesn't decide to stop funding the healthcare. What will I do then? Guess we'll just have to jump when China says jump and throw into the conversation "how high."
My, oh my, not too long ago this country was telling China how far to jump! I just love (?) this new way of living off the credit card getting everything we want but when and how long will it take to pay off the credit card?

Sorry, there I go again worrying about your children and grandchildren.
Seriously, we'd better party now because this country's party is seriously winding down. Who cares whether or not the children and grandchildren have the quality of life we've had - the quality of life our ancestors wanted for us, planned for us, and gave their lives for us.

China, U.S. eye pact to help troubled banks: sources Tue Nov 17, 2009 4:34am EST
China, US eye banking agreement-paper Monday, 16 Nov 2009 11:55pm EST Monday, 16 Nov 2009 08:28pm EST By George Chen
HONG KONG (Reuters)- "Chinese and U.S. regulators are negotiating a pact aimed at encouraging Chinese financial institutions to buy into small and medium-sized banks in the United States, bankers briefed on the plan said on Tuesday."
Oh, well, why not let COMMUNIST China with its history of poor human rights buy into our financial system? If our very own people like Barney Frank can help bring down our financial system, think about how much fun the Chinese will have when they do the same.
Have you started teaching your children and grandchildren Chinese yet? I have heard that it is a hard language to learn.

They are OUR bank NOW...We spend money like it is going out of style by borrowing from the Chinese....We are creating a "house of cards" here..... What are we to expect?...When we take someone's money or borrow someone's money, then they will naturally look for influence concerning how it is spent, and how to get their's back with interest.

there is another house of cards that no one is even talking about. Japan buys about as much of our debt as china does and we buy about 1/3 of japan's debt. Great Britian buys american debt Japan and the US buy English debt. The problem there is all three countries are debtor nations, buying each others debt with bad paper. When this ponzy scheme blows up, the results will be much worse than letting china buy into american banks. Not that i approve of Red China buying anything in this country or buying anything from Red China.

Nice work by these clowns of bringing terrorists to NYC for trial. I'd have thought they'd have moved them to Kenya so they would fall under the proper jurisdiction.

They want to bring them to NY and put them on trial so they can put bush, cheney and rumsfeld on trial. They need to take the focus off of their bumbling and fumbling of the economy. I guarnatee you some shister lawyer is going to be trying to get bush, cheney and rumsfield in the witness chair. Of course that will make a lot of liberals happy.

I just get up each morning and thank god that GW wasn't able to stick it out for a 3rd term. Obama is a breath of fresh air over a problem that has taken over 8 years to build and although you cant cover a room full of farts with one breath of fresh air its nice to know someones on their way with the lysol!
