Obama never said he planned to take away your guns. Moreover, the supreme court recently made a judical ruling that the ownership of guns is a constitutional right of all citizens under the second ammendment. Therefore, Obama cannot take away your guns and even congress cannot pass a law against gun ownership--it would be unconstitutional. So relax, stop your paranoia and quit telling lies.

Obama and the Attempt to Destroy the Second Amendment

Talk about a smoking gun...

October 6, 2008 - by David T. Hardy (Attorney and Constitutional Scholar)

As a presidential candidate, Barack Obama must demonstrate executive experience, but he remains strangely silent about his eight years (1994-2002) as a director of the Joyce Foundation, a billion dollar tax-exempt organization. He has one obvious reason: during his time as director, Joyce Foundation spent millions creating and supporting anti-gun organizations.

There is another, less known, reason.

During Obama’s tenure, the Joyce Foundation board planned and implemented a program targeting the Supreme Court. The work began five years into Obama’s directorship, when the Foundation had experience in turning its millions into anti-gun “grassroots” organizations, but none at converting cash into legal scholarship.

The plan’s objective was bold: the judicial obliteration of the Second Amendment....

The Second Amendment has LONG been understood as SECURING the Right of the individual citizen. The 'court' didn't do ANYTHING but bow to public pressure. Although they still held that there can be 'reasonable regulation'. How in the hell can there be 'reasonable regulations'. On a right that was specifically designated as one that "shall NOT be infringed" upon?

Obama also had staated that he had AGREED with the D.C. gun ban. Once a TRAITOR, always a TRAITOR....

First of all, her response and thanks was to me. I gave her very sound advice. I mentioned the same things that you did, and if you would have read her post, before responding, you would have noticed, that she said she didn't have any young children around to worry about. As far as her rose colored glasses, tell that to the 60 something year old lady in Tamarac who came home and found an intruder in her house who beat her with a golf club. It's only lucky that she didn't suffer as much damage as could have been possible.
I also, suggested to her to take the time and go to the range so handling the gun becomes natural. But, you didn't like that, because someone after listening to all the pros and cons posted in this forum, decided that getting a firearm was a prudent thing to do. She was open minded and listened and went with the voice of reason. Doesn't say much for the arguements that you have posted. Just face it, after intelligent discussion, you lost this one. She made her decision after listening to what was being said, not before, her decision is made, let her be and give up finally, instead of acting like a sore loser.
You are welcome to whatever glory and praise you feel you are entitled to. However if you read the post and my response in even a cursory manner you would notice that she specifically addressed me by name and it was to that point to which I wrote. Perhaps you did lead her to a life of guns with your “very sound advice.” I wrote with a different point of view and did not feel we were in some competition for the very souls of those we address. I certainly do not feel as though anything was lost by anyone and I hope my point will still weigh with her in the future.
Yet before you cast the stone of claiming one has not read another’s post, you should look first to yourself. Here is your statement condemning me,“if you would have read her post, before responding, you would have noticed, that she said she didn't have any young children around to worry about.” If you read her post you would see that children in her life are not necessarily out of the question. Her exact statement was,“I have no family nearby.” The operative word being “nearby,” this hardly justifies your response accusing me not reading before I write. No, you must read more carefully before you write. But in any event, the advice I gave in reference to kids is sound and applies to any adult. If you agree with that advice I welcome you.
I don’t know the story of the lady who got beat with the golf club and fail to see how a gun of any sort would have helped her. I would like to think my genuinely held beliefs did not force her to a pro-gun decision, and rather believe like you that it was simply your “voice of reason.” After all is said, congratulations on winning a soul to guns.

Children should always be supervised.

Tell us a story about the time you saw a handgun slip UP out a gun owner's pocket, and rise up towards the ceiling and then disappear into outerspace. Did the gun shoot a kid before it left the planet ?

Question:
Why are the streets of Englewood so dangerous ?

Answer:
Because all the cops are online patrolling the internet (the safest place on the planet).

This may be the reason why everyone is STOCKING up on ammo and guns. The last couple of gun shows I've been to its been elbow to elbow. Obaba is against guns and everyone knows it. I wonder if their are any Obaba practice targets out there yet. That would probably be a hot seller.I remember seeing them for Bush but I guess it would be racist for obaba target practice sheets.
