The longtime residents of Broward County knew that the estimated figures for revenue created by slots was grossly inflated during the "campain" to allow slots.
I always spend too much when I go to Las Vegas or the Gulf Coast so I have avoided the casino three miles from my home. Nrver went there for horses, don't need to go for slots. Maybe if our tourist comission and czar Grossman advertise to the coming snowbirds the revenuse could pick up.

Just bulldoze the whole D.A.M.N. city. They are so far behind the times for development its not funny. They allow the homeless to run rampent in the city and go dumpster diving behind Winn Dixie and will not do anything about it to protect the residents. They have a Code Enforcement department that is very selective of who they cite and go after.
I was told Jai Alai was a dead project last week and couldnt believe it, but here it is in print. I was also told that the condo tower east of Gulfstream road is one of our commissioners projects!

Dania Beach Government, take a good look at yourselves, no one wants to build here, no one wants to move here. You need to change that and change your ways!

Or make the facilities an entertainment destination like Hard Rock. Shopping and stop in to blow $20.
