I heard Cindy Martin overdosed...I was just wondering if anyone knew how she was doing or if she made it? My prayers are with her family.

last i heard she was on some sort of support, her family is with her,, she is communicating BY WRITING so.. to me that means theres no brain damage or it's minimal. she's at appalachain regional.. go visit.

So this is the first time that I have been on topix. I was told that I should check it out because there is always something posted about things happening and stuff. It just so happened that I typed in Danese and saw her name pop up. She is my cousin. I know that you all weren't saying any thing bad but, maybe at least one or two of you should have called her to check on her when you heard that she had possibly overdosed. When you look back and see what she has been through with the loss of her brother and then a close friend not long after, she didI what she thought would help. As far as the pregnancy goes, she did get pregnant and lose the baby. I am not trying to be mean or anything, I just wanted to put my opinion in. I can tell you as of right now, she is with her parents and that is where she needs to be. Just a little opinion, but maybe it would make her feel better if she had someone that she could have turned to. Someone that she could have talked to besides her parents. My aunt and uncle love her more than anything but being that I know from first hand, parents aren't the first ones that we always turn to. Sometimes we need a good friend to talk to. Someone that isn't going to judge us for what we tell them but try and help us out. Someone that we know would be there for any reason,weither its to talk to or to try and get us help. Someone that can be called a true friend because they will come out in the middle of the night to talk, hold our hand, or to let us cry on their shoulder.
I am not in ANY way saying anything bad about the post on here, I just wanted to get my thought in because I have known her since she was born. I know that there WASN'T anything mean and I hope that whoever might read this knows that I wasn't trying to say there was or anything.

she overdosed again? what is this like the 3rd time. come on. when someone gone put her in rehab? you want to lay a speech on "cousin" why dont you put one on her and get her help?

So, I don't know who said that she did it again, but she has only OD 1 time, NOT 3 And as for me laying a speech on her, we have. You can't force someone to stay in rehab or anything, believe me, if we could then she would be there. Right now she is home with her parents where she needs to be as opposed to being out and about with who knows who.
