Does anyone know about this church. I know they use King James, but I would like to know about the music.

How is the preaching, members, etc?

I love the old hymns {not the chants from the 1600's}

Barbara Ann..I kinda feel uneasy about someone asking church questions on Topix an not getting an answer.I believe Grace Baptist is on Facebook.Might find the info you need there,or find a number to call.I too enjoy the old standard hymns.I actually grew up singing in the church.

REALLY! Singing.

I wasn't being negative, just didn't want to have to try out 50 local
churches.

I am a member of Grace Baptist Church. It's a wonderful church and yes, we use the King James Bible and sing the old fashioned hymns. We would love to have you come visit us and Sunday morning or night or Wednesday night.

My family and I have visited on a few occasions and my children have attended their Vacation Bible School. Everyone seems so nice and we felt welcome when we were there.

Don't go to church much, but have visited Grace about a year ago. When I visited they were not using the KJB and sang praise music not hymns. They also are Calvinist if you like that.

Oh yeah, visited Harvest Baptist back then to. They used the KJB and sang the old hymns. Never heard a group sing out on hymns like that. They were very friendly, like Grace,but just wasn't my personal taste. I like the CCM stuff. Hope this helps you out some in your search... I just never found a place to feel comfortable in. Hope you do!

Attended the Music service at Grace Baptist on 25/70

last night. The music was GREAT, the people very

friendly. Will go again. Wish the Music Service was

every 4th Sunday instead of every 5th.
