Fireworks At Lion's Park

The Fireworks at Lion's Park were great! The Army Band was there, and they were really good! It is great that Walnut Cove could get such a good band there this year!

Also, it was good to see the police department, the Sheriff's Department, and the two Fire Departments there. I am glad to see the Town, County and the local fire departments working together. Tonight was a great night for Walnut Cove, and it gave me hope that we are moving forward in the right direction!

I really enjoyed the fireworks and the Band. it is nice that Walnut Cove can have something good for a change. I only wish all of this silly fighting and fussing would stop. Walnut Cove is a good Town and there are some really good people here. But the ones still dwelling on the past need to move on. Why can't everyone just get along and work together for a better Town.

I have a question for anyone out there. Why was Salem chapel's Fire Truck at the Fire works Did Walnut Cove not know they should have a truck there?

The fireworks were beautiful! The band was excellent: the orchestra and swing band were really good, the rock band was okay. I wish more people would have been there. It is such a neat event and FREE for the public. I hope they do it next year and continue with this type of entertainment. Last year Martha and the Moodswingers were there and they were awesome. I am glad Elvis stayed at home this year - he is interesting, but not the right type of entertainment for this type of venue. ;o)
The fireworks were GREAT - Kudos to those who organized, which I think was just about all the clubs in town...

Does anyone know what happened at the Walnut Cove Town Board meeting last night? Was it still a Show by Sharon or did they get anything done?

Actually Sharon Conaway kept her mouth shut at the last board meeting. Yes, it was a shock!

My, that is a shock! Is it possible that she is realizing that she is making a fool of herself and people are lauging at her? She needs to move on...if only she could put her efforts into something useful...
