To my knowledge there has NEVER been an instance of ACORN being involved in voter fraud.

Only a foxhole, dittohead or teabagger would believe it has ever happened.

PlacitassRoy, deny, deny, deny and lie, lie, lie!

"Democrats are split on how to deal with Acorn, the liberal "community organizing" group that deployed thousands of get-out-the-vote workers last election. State and city Democratic officials -- who've been contending with its many scandals -- are moving against it. Washington Democrats are still sweeping Acorn abuses under a rug.

On Monday, Nevada officials charged Acorn, its regional director and its Las Vegas field director with submitting thousands of fraudulent voter registration forms last year. Larry Lomax, the registrar of voters in Las Vegas, says he believes 48% of Acorn's forms "are clearly fraudulent." On Thursday, prosecutors in Pittsburgh, Pa., also charged seven Acorn employees with filing hundreds of fraudulent voter registrations before last year's general election."

I notice you failed to answer the question: "And where did you get this little bit of cr@p?" Your statement was nothing but a BALD FACED LIE.

And where did you get this little bit of cr@p? How in the hell can "a couple thousand more votes than registered voters" have been cast when "Voter turnout was better than it has been in some past elections. In the District 6 race won by Thomas, it was 22 percent. In the District 5 race won by Sorg, it was 15 percent. In the District 3 race won by Pedroza it was 10 percent." http://www.nmpolitics.net/index/2009/11/voter ...

it's a shame you extremists didn't pay this much attention when the president of Diebold promised Bush the ohio vote to bush, registered on diebold voting machines naturally. Or even the florida vote, decided by a judge appointed by one candidate's dad in a state his brother was governer of after the recount was supervised by the head of his campaign there. I mean it's a shame for you, but pretty damn funny for me.

The convictions are coming Roy. Considering there are at least 50 indictments out there for voter fraud. There is bound to be someone jail bound before long

I can totally understand your view - 95% of the media - AP, NY Times, network news, most cable news, etc. has not and does not report on ACORN's corruption.

Is there anything happening with the investigation of voter fraud in Al Franken's election?

None involving ACORN or ACORN personnel. A quick look at the first 3 pages of google (criteria: Voter fraud, indictments) turned up 4 people indicted in a St Louis local election, 2 in VA , several in NJ conspiracy, & 5 County officials in KY.

Not a single one involving ACORN.(several concerning the registration fraud by ACORN workers)

More voter fraud indictments in Virginia?“…two people were indicted in Louisa County in connection with the 2008 presidential election.”[Unrelated cases] http://www2.dailyprogress.com/cdp/news/local/...

State of New JERSEY & 3 more related articles NO MENTION OF ACORN IN THE ARTICLE.[Campaign workers named.] www.nj.gov/oag/newsreleases09/pr20090903d.htm...

Kentucky election fraud indictments HTTP://CATLESS.NCL.AC.UK/RISKS/25.76.HTML#SUB...

[But there was a factual error in that article] Brad Blog has the real story here: WERE THE ELECTION OFFICIALS WHO ALLEGEDLY MANIPULATED VOTES ON E-VOTING MACHINES IN CLAY COUNTY, KY, REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRATIC? AND DOES IT ACTUALLY MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE?... http://www.bradblog.com/... and here:

These foxholes and dittoheads try to scatter this kind of Foxc@p around the sidewalk every damn time ACORN is mention. Too dumb to know the difference between low level hourly employees ripping of the employer and real voter fraud or even worse election fraud.

Ah yes, the Florida votes, which were counted and recounted. After all of the counting, the New York Times said this:

"Study of Disputed Florida Ballots Finds Justices Did Not Cast the Deciding Vote
By FORD FESSENDEN and JOHN M. BRODER
Published: Monday, November 12, 2001

A comprehensive review of the uncounted Florida ballots from last year's presidential election reveals that George W. Bush would have won even if the United States Supreme Court had allowed the statewide manual recount of the votes that the Florida Supreme Court had ordered to go forward."

It's a shame that you continue to cry in your beer for the wrong reasons!

There is not a SINGLE count of 'voter fraud' in the Las Vegas indictments. Details of the charges: ACORN, Former Official Plead Not Guilty in Nevada http://www.lasvegasnow.com/Global/story.asp...

Lie, lie ,lie!

"Although the organization prides itself for its registration efforts, it also has a long history of scandal. In the state of Missouri in 1986, 12 ACORN members were convicted of voter fraud. But that case was not an isolated incident in the state. In December 2004, in St. Louis, six volunteers pleaded guilty of dozens of election law violations for filling out registration cards with names of dead people and other bogus information. Authorities launched an earlier investigation after noticing that among the new voters was longtime St. Louis alderman Albert “Red” Villa, who died in 1990. The volunteers worked for “Operation Big Vote”— a branch of ACORN — in St. Louis.

On February 10, 2005, Nonaresa Montgomery, a paid worker who ran Operation Big Vote during the run-up to the 2001 mayoral primary, was found guilty of vote fraud. Montgomery hired about 30 workers to do fraudulent voter-registration canvassing. Instead of knocking on doors, the volunteers sat at a St. Louis fast food restaurant and wrote out names and information from an outdated voter list. About 1,500 fraudulent voter registration cards were turned in.

In October 2006, St. Louis election officials discovered at least 1,492 “potentially fraudulent” voter registration cards. They were all turned in by ACORN volunteers.

In November 2006, 20,000 to 35,000 questionable voter registration forms were turned in by ACORN officials in Missouri. Most all of these were from St. Louis and Kansas City areas, where ACORN purportedly sought to help empower the “disenfranchised” minorities living there. But the ACORN workers weren’t just told to register new voters. The workers admitted on camera that they were coached to tell registrants to vote for Democrat Claire McCaskill.

In 2007, in Kansas City, Missouri, four ACORN employees were indicted for fraud. In April of this year eight ACORN employees in St. Louis city and county pleaded guilty to federal election fraud for submitting bogus voter registrations.

And, that was just Missouri."

And not a friggin one of your unsourced examples were for voter fraud.
Registration fraud is a completely different kettle of fish. A lot of that is the result of laws that REQUIRED every filled out form be submitted, even if the organization KNOWS it is fraudulently filled out by an employee.

You really are too friggin' ignorant to know the difference between some low level employees scamming their employer and someone voting fraudulently aren't you?

PlacitassRoy, keep on dancing around the fact that ACORN is nothing but a bunch of crooks who are in the business of getting Democrats elected fraudulently.

What is your explanation for those LOW LEVEL EMPLOYEES getting caught doing the same thing in many states? Have some guts and admit that it's a systemic disease within ACORN.

So why don;t you link me to some right-wing propaganda site that demonstrate voter fraud. Not the registration cr@p by employees.

Franken's recount was in the court system for months. You can damn well bet Coleman's attorneys were trying at every step of the way to find some fraud. THEY COULDN'T.

The FRIVOLOUS lawsuit filed by the RepubliCON front group against Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and 31 county auditors was dismissed back in July.

"On behalf of all dedicated election officials who help administer the best election system in the country, I thank the Minnesota Supreme Court for its careful and judicious review of this lawsuit and its decision to dismiss it," Ritchie said in a statement this afternoon. "We agree with the court's findings that Minnesota Majority neither described nor identified any wrongful acts, omissions or errors, and we concur with the court's decision to reject the lawsuit." I assume you are too intellectually too unconscious to take a look at this but others might find it interesting.

Interesting graph accompanies EVIDENCE OF REPUBLICAN ELECTION FRAUD IN THE AL FRANKEN, NORM COLEMAN SENATE RACE?(2) that ties directly into #12 of the top 25 Censored stories: MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF MIKE CONNELL—KARL ROVE’S ELECTION THIEF "Karl Rove’s chief IT consultant, Mike Connell—who was facing subpoena in connection with 2004 Presidential election fraud in Ohio—mysteriously died in a private plane crash in 2008. Connell was allegedly the central figure in a longstanding plot to electronically flip votes to Republicans...." (3)

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aquarius

The more you want to control someone, or someone wants to control you, the more difficult life will be today. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so the last thing you should do now is to act as though you own this person, or tell them what to do, because it will be an instant recipe for rebellion and trouble. Mars is retro in your house of significant others and open enemies after all. If you don't want to spoil the evening's celebrations you'll have to make compromises, and hope that this other person will do the same. Don't let the fuss stop you having a very happy New Year's Eve.
