Former New Fairfield cop may face more charges

State police are investigating new allegations against the former New Fairfield officer already accused of stealing donated exercise equipment from the town's police department, a prosecutor said.

I think this is a shame, one of the towns best officer is going down because of gym equipment. You got to be kidding me. Are we not allowed to make one mistake and be able to pay back the price of the gym equipment. Don't make him the dirty cop which I believe he is not. Shameful.

If he was one of the towns best Officers he would not have TAKEN the gym equipment and broke the law. Cops should be held to a higher standard. He knew what he was doing was wrong. Then again he has done so many shady things that he probably can't keep up with all the lies. Plus he lied to the Investigators when they came knocking on his door. He blew his chances at a slap on the wrist. He put himself in this position...... best officer, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!

this guy is not a good cop. despite what they can find on him or gather evidence for, it's about time someone made him accountable for his behavior. he's been arrogant for thinking he's above the law. it's time for a reality check.

They went to Chris house and he had the chance to speak and he choose not to go into detail about the case. He called Chris lawyer and he didn't call him back.
