home owned by billionaire developer trevor davis.
I've been in the house before doing some work.....giant garage filled with exotic sports cars...two ferraris, a porsche, a maybach, aston martins. The owner is a big game hunter...has"had" a roomed filled with full sized stuff animals including an elephant, a giraffe and various other african big game...Glassed-in wine cellar/cave....Pretty tacky decoration but hey i'm not a billaionaire.

There's no way that was deliberate. That place was a custom built masterpiece and in my opinion, the african theme on the property is very tastefully done. Very sad. It is fortunate that no one was hurt. Hopefully they find the cause and ensure that the barns with thatched roofs are safe to continue using.

Did this house also have a full fledged recording studio, chock full of musical instruments once owned by famous musicians? A number of yours ago I visited an enormous mansion on Quaker Hill an it had a wealth of historical instruments that had me in awe.

If, in fact, this is the same mansion, it is such a shame that so much history would be lost. I remember walking down a corridor passing many pieces of dramatic African artwork. I hope no one living in the house or fighting the fire were injured.

Although they both have the same owner, this is not the house at Cogi farm, but rather Trevor Davis Realestate LLC's corp retreat. All many of his neighbors can say is "Karma can sometimes be a bitch". I'm sure Trevor Davis appreciates your well wishes and prayers for him, his family and property, but he's not the kind of person who would have extended a kind thought on anyone's behalf unless he stood to profit from it.

Here's a run down of his actions:
* threatened his neighbors with endless lawsuits if he didn't get exactly what he wanted "If you don't like it, then sue me. I can burn a barrell of money a day without issue.".
* tried to block useage of public lands (the OTA)through any means available (legal or otherwise)
* repeatedely hired contractors and then refused to pay them
* screwed over people who trusted them with their lives (e.g., his grounds keeper and one time friend).
* found and exploited every loophole to avoid paying his fair share of taxes.

What happened is the chimney collapsed to spur the fire. The man who built the chimney for Mr. Davis worked very hard and followed strict orders from Trevor himself. Upon completion Trevor Davis refused to pay the man who built this chimney. Karma got this man back for all of the other contractors that he refused to pay. I hope all of his artwork, stuffed animals, extensive gun collection and exotic cars burned as well. Maybe Mr. Davis could learn a lesson about life and treat others the way they treat him, with respect. Have you ever seen blood diamond? Well before coming to the United States Trevor was the “white” man on top of the latter in the diamond mining business. After making money off slavery pretty much back in South Africa he came here and bought real estate in NYC. His money is dirty, his ethics are dirtier and he himself is dirtiest. God bless his family for having to almost die because of his awful karma. Mr. Davis if you read this, America doesn’t want you, Pawling doesn’t want you and Quaker hill doesn’t want you either. Live an honest life sir, live an honest life.

Get your facts straight buddy
Before you go about bashing other people
Nothing you have said here is correct and or based on fact
Jealousy is making you an ugly person.
You should watch your own karma now!

Fact
Mr Davis built housing in South Africa for under priviledged and the poor. Get your facts straight, he had nothing to do with Blood Diamonds? What are you sniffing? and as for your karma wishes back at you!

Wow! I always knew Trevor Davis was a closeted clown. Now it's out in the open. People have been pointing at Trevor and laughing for years and now he finally has the recognition that he truly deserves. Trevor Davis is an "Official" CLOWN!

all the animals that were hunted and killed were tagged for a legal harvest. Each animal had its own ID Number and documentation. He paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to hunt these animals for the sake of thinning over populated or sick herds. He never would have been able to import them back to the US if proper procedures were not followed. He is in fact a self absorbed billionaire who has probably screwd over a lot of people but there aren't many billionaires who have not done the same. His wife is a coke w.h.o.r.e too. I'm surprised he didnt have her stuffed in the basement as well.
