They won state way to go for the girls very proud of them. But very Lisa Blackburn and her comments she sux and will tire that team down when she gets a hold of them. She sux as a coach. LMAO at her. What a joke for a coach and Don Blackburn is no better at the Athlect Director. To lazy to have that job and so is JImmy King he quites when it hard to stand out and every coach he hires is from John Battle the new girls basketball coach is from BATTLE.
You should really have a talk with Lisa and ask her if she would help you with your grammar. Softball is not the only thing she teaches the girls she also teaches english. Personally i don't think you would know a good ball coach if one hit you in the mouth, so why would anyone want your opinion in the first place, secondly if you don't have the " nuts" to sign your name then you should keep your mouth shut. I very seldom get on this site just because it is filled with people like you who want to talk trash about other people because they can do so and hide behind some screen name so nobody will know who they are. Well as you can see i put my name on there and if what i had to say upset you then tell me about it when you see me on the street, because i know you will not post your name.

They are three games from world seris. I'm so proud of the girls. Hard work has paid off for them hope they go all the way. Duane sorry if I strpped on your sisters tow but the truth is the truth. Ans her teaching is not that great I have kids that went thur Holston and are going to collage and they were not ready for some of the papers they had to write beacuse they were not tought correctly in High School but they are doing very well and has already grad. from collage and it was not a communty collage. And my gramer is not that great nor my spelling because I did not finish High school but all my kids will have Collage Degrees when they finsh and I have work very hard to puit them thur collage. But the truth will always stand. Evean when we are gone.

So there is only one English teacher at Holston High School. I don't think the responsibility was all on her. Parents should also take a role in their children's education. I wouldn't necessarily blame Mrs. Blackburn because if you had ever attended a college level English class you would know that it really depends on what the Professor wants and also that they tell you almost all high school students struggle with papers their freshman year.

Lisa Blackburn teaches middle school English and always has. Don't blame her for your child not being prepared. A lot of a child's knowledge comes from what is taught at home as well as school...and as you said, you didn't even finish high school.

How is the girls money I'm sure they need some donation and the town should step up and give some money. It is going to expensive and theyu need all the support they can get and the are going to be honoring our small town. All business in town should help out. Way to go girls. Great job well done.

The Little League association foots the bill for the girls and coaches. The local league and town folks are off the hook for this one. Good luck girls.
