I agree that Walmart would be well suited for Wiscasset. There are not a lot of business here that would be impacted by their moving in. However I think that putting it where Morse farms is now is insane. There is a primary school right next door and the high school up the road. Plus placing the bypass there is not safe thinking for our children.
However, Walmart should take over the building where the Yellow front used to be. Tear that down and build it there. The land is already zoned for commercial use. They could ven build by the Ames supply. Both places would give them route 1 exposure, and leave Morse farms alone.
