Will Mill Valley suspend their ridiculous parking regulations that force people to run out of the theater and stuff the meter with coins at 4 P.M. on a Sunday afternoon?

"The movie and the event are over two hours long, do we attend it and get a parking ticket because there's no way I'm sprinting four blocks to the car to check for chalk on the tires and to stuff more coins in the meter, or do we just figure the cost of the ticket in with the cost of the movie tickets, the popcorn, the coke, the extras'?

"Let's just wait to get in on DVD"

Thank you to the geniuses on the Mill Valley Town Council that came up with this hare brained scheme.

That's a hoot! Maybe SF Parking should take advantage of the weekend's celebrations and make some outrageous cash!! Pretty soon no one will go anywhere because of parking extortion.... hah!

I saw Conviction and it is worth seeing. Great casting and screenplay, powerfully scary true story if a man spending the better part of two decades in prison after being framed for murder. The DA didn't want to admit the State's nistake. States's are destroying old DNA evidence according to The Innocence Project of lawyers trying to prove innocence in this type if case. The system is about tge system, not the truth, is the message. Sam Rockwell, Hillary Swank, Minnie Driver and the amazingly evil Juliette Lewis were awesome.

Quit the complaining. Parking is cheap. The costs went up 25 cents per hour...big deal. Just because you want to park in front of your store all day.. Get a life.

The tickets aren't cheep--town official? Oh, yea--the horned rimed glasses don't make people look smart--not on Sam, nor anyone; females donate your black serious glasses to the festival. There's got to be a poser in need?

Is there anything more pretentious and absurd than what passes for "stars" at eh MV film Festival?
