Pacifica School District board member Mike O'Neill spoke his mind at Wednesday night's board meeting, saying it is pathetic a school district in the seventh largest economy in the world is being forced to cut crossing guards.

Susan Vickrey, PSD superintendent, presented her findings on population change patterns in Pacifica...She stated at one time the school district had 12,000 students, and today, it has only 3100.

So let's see now: We have 1/4 the number of students and a budget that has gone up by a factor of 4. Does anyone else see what's wrong with this picture (besides the fact that everyone wants to put their kids in private schools)?

Susan Vickrey is a idiot, how do these people get elected? who elects them? Not me. Sell the Gosh Darn Property. Everybody is leaving. No one is coming back anytime soon. All Union employees need to start paying for their benefits. No raise. Private Sector has lost jobs, lost raises, lost bonuses, they pay for their own health benefits. Now the unions think they are they fucking boss, when they are such a small majority. They are the ones that are killing California. Teachers Union is nothing but a bunch of THUGS. Make them pay for their benefits, that will balance the budget.
