Coliseum Event: A Noisy Night for Alameda
#1 Sep 30, 2012
It makes me disappointed in humanity that the colliseum would choose to throw an outdoor event so loud it would shake homes miles away until 2am. I live in alameda and I couldn't sleep or watch tv. My child could sleep and it scared her. Who gives them the right to do this? Why don't they care about human decency?
Don't we have some rights as citizens that noise not pass a certain level after a certain point of the night? City of Oakland I am disappointed in you too.

Holy shit that was unessessarily loud. Im 27 and have been to my fair share of loud music shows but last night was bs. I live in alameda and the music was litterally vibrating my floor. There is no need for the music to be that loud.

I attended an outdoor wedding several miles away from the coliseum and it was faint, audible, but again, faint. From what I've read on different sites so far, it just sounds like a bunch of complainers unnecessarily blowing this out of proportion.

Can't wait for Oakland's sport teams to leave. Maybe the Colliseum will be closed when no one wants to go to that dump any more.
