Woman Sues Six Flags Over Ride Mishap

An Oklahoma woman who was among several people injured when a park ride malfunctioned has sued Six Flags Over Texas and the maker of the mechanical spinner.

I'm sorry she was bruised (that is the worst injury reported) in 2006. Her attorney states she has not missed work... sooo what are her complaints in the suit for?

Have you been there lately? It's not the Six Flags it was 25 years ago -= maybe it is, just not maintained. Six Flags Amusements have succeeded in becoming a county fair on steroids. The facilities are nasty, the food overpriced, and the lines for the rides are unacceptable. Don't forget, people have died and been seriously maimed at the Arlington location and other locations in the country. It is high time they get their act together, or pull up stakes and leave town.

She'll never get anything! These places are so covered with liability insurance. I had an injury from a water park that was dreadful fighting. It can go on for years.

10 years ago my little girl fell out of one of the boats in the kiddie part and was run over by the boat in the water. she had a concusion and scrapes and spent the night in the hospital. i didn't sue.

Did any one of you hear about the poor 14 year old girl at Six Flags in Kentucky last June that had her feet severed off due to a malfunctioning ride?? Now could you look her parents in the face and talk this same crap???? This child had one foot saved and the other gone, and just went for more surgery...I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy...I pray daily for her and her parents!!!

Denise, no one is comparing the horrific accident to the article we are talking about. This woman is suing because she was jostled around. The little girl in the other case lost a limb.. they are not even on a comparable level

I was playing catch with my son the other day and got hit in foot with the baseball, I am debating filing assault charges on him and filing a law suit. I had a glove on and he should have thrown the ball to the glove not my foot. Then I will make an appeal that baseballs be outlawed due to the bruising that they cause. And whoever is complaining about food prices at six flaggs do you think that frivilous lawsuits like this have something to do with that. And before some jackace responds with you cant spell I admit I have a college degree but do not spell that well, spell check dependant.

Did she really lose both limbs if they found and reattached one of them? I vote to close Six Flags BEFORE they start selling booze.
