Why is Mission Arlington allowed to continue helping illegal immigrants in ways that are a violation of federal law?

Why Why Why - I have asked Why 1000000 times. There are no answers - It is so frustrating in Texas. Illegal immigration is out of control.
Recently, I was (unfortunately - that is another story) traveling to Ohio from Texas and back on a Greyhound Bus. In Dallas, I was surrounded by 16 gentlemen who were traveling from "El Paso" to Kansas City. Not one could speak English. A man with a black windbreaker on that said POLICE on the back got on the bus at one of our Texas stops and checked every passenger's ticket - I guess he was looking for someone. I thought my 16 traveling companions sitting around me were going to chit a brick. The "policeman" looked at their tickets one by one, asked one if they were a "work crew or something" ... the guy couldn't understand him, of course - He just smiled. The policeman got off the bus and we rolled on up the highway. I guess he was looking for someone, but not for green cards or birth certificates.
PS: Greyhound sucks. They still have not found my luggage and it has been almost a month. They put it on the wrong bus after I was bumped from a bus because it was too full in Cincinatti. They were hateful and rude, especially at Cinci and Nashville - it was horrible.

Federal Immigration and Nationality Act
Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)

"Any person who ... encourages or induces an alien to ... reside ... knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such ... residence is ... in violation of law, shall be punished as provided ... for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs ... fined under title 18 ... imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both."

Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A):

A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local government) commits a federal felony when she or he:

* assists an alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or

* encourages that alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or

* knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.

MISSION ARLINGTON VIOLATES each of these guidelines every day it is in operation. Why and how are they allowed to remain as a charity if they are committing FEDERAL FELONIES?

Mission Arlington receives at least 10,000 requests for assistance every year. The majority of the clients are hispanic and African-American. The law states that a person should be able to reasonably assume, based on the relationship with the person, that the person was here illegally or not. It must be certain that Mission Arlington, the First Baptist Church of Arlington, and the City of Arlington,Texas which partially funds Mission Arlington, should KNOW that a great many of the persons seeking assistance with food, clothing, housing, utility bill payments, and job assistance, must be in this country illegally.

take a look at the jail inmate list for the city of Arlington.

On most days the inmate poulation has a large % of hispanics with many on "other hold for INS". Its not the police departments fault that they have to wait until an illegal immigrant breaks a law and is under arrest and in jail before they can call INS.
That is ridiculous as many of the families that visit Mission Arlington also have family members out committing crimes in the community.
What kind of Christian organization would provide support for people like that?

Mission Arlington would.

Illegal Aliens are criminals. They are not immigrants. If you don't like the term Illegal then use Undocumented, however the are still Aliens not immigrants. Some depending on how many times the have been sent back are even FELONS. Just like the bank-robber, felons.

I checked 'em out. It looks like they help a lot of people. It also seems reasonable to me to assume they are helping a lot of illegals since illegals are the bulk of those asking for help.
$5 says they are committing criminal acts under the guise of a church charity.

Also Mexicans have to wait 14 years before they can have citizenship through a family member other than their spouse or parent as long as they are under the age of 21, but yet people from the Middle East and Asia get to become citizens sponsored by themselves in 2... Maybe, but they need to apply for citizenship first after entering this country legally. They can't sidestep the law to become a citizen.
