Gun owners are up in arms over fees increase

Many hunters and gun owners were shocked to learn that last Sunday Gov. Deval L. Patrick filed a supplemental appropriations bill for fiscal year 2008, which, if passed, would greatly affect their pocketbooks ...

You know?

Back —just before the AMERICAN REVOLUTION, such egregious taxation was PRIME to causing THAT REVOLUTION.

IF >YOU< PEOPLE allow this to happen, then >YOU< DESERVE what happens next.

My comment regardless of the outcome of this impending proposal by the politician concern will hopefully be joined by our fellow sporstmen and law abiding Americans that this is government greed, plain and simple. I hope these people will realize how it will affect their political carreer in the future. Voters are already fed up how some of our politicians abused their power as elected by the common people. I hope every law abiding Americans will rally against this proposal.

Well, unfortunately, Roger, there are MORE people 'on the take,' than there are 'being taxed.'

And the 'takers' outnumber us.

Well, now that you've got that out of your system, perhaps you'd like to talk about how it is that you hate firearms so much?

It's LONG since past time for this my friends.

The affect of the various taxes, fees, etc.. on the populace is beyond the pale. MOST people are clueless when it comes to the amount of income they spend as a direct result of taxes, fees, etc..

It should be against the law to Tax us in any way shape or form in a hidden or cloaked way. ALL taxation, whether it's income tax, service fee, other, should have to be sent to the American people as a monthly bill, payable on the first of each month.

Only then would they begin to recognize just how much time they spend toting blocks of stone for the Pharaoh.

But even then they would not have a clear picture, because few understand that tax is just a cost of doing business to our industries, and is simply factored in to the consumer price just as any other cost is.

Leaving the consumer paying for that cost all the ay at the end of the food chain.

Every time I hear a politician making (yet another) promise to give this or give that, I can't help but to understand a simple fact.

Our government produces NOTHING.
zip,
zero,
nada..

If they plan on GIVING something, they must first TAKE it away from someone. NO OTHER way for them to do it.

They are thieves.

How many times have you heard the words,
"we can't afford a tax cut" from some idiot in the government..?

Time to throw the tea..?

OH YA man..

It's REALLY time to throw some freakin tea..

as well as throwing the pols with it..

Necro's Rant

PART 1

To our politicians...
Wake up...
The concept is "We the People"...
NOT "We the government know best"
You sorry, corrupt SOB's are hereby limited to 2 terms ONLY...
Then get out...
No more Byrds or Kennedys, et al.. that homestead DC for life,
praising one another for all their "good service"...
All the while building themselves little kingdoms of power...

It is also now illegal for you to work for a lobby group upon leaving office...
Go out in the real world and get a real job...
Just like the rest of us...
No life long pensions...
No life long health care...

We will return your offices back to the people who truly want to serve their country...
No longer a stepping stone to amass millions, gain perks or power...
2 terms in, and then you're done...

There will no longer be ANY hidden taxes or government "fees"...
ALL taxes, fees, etc.. must be sent as a bill to the American people...
Due on the 1st of each month...
ONLY THEN will they recognize exactly how much they labor
each year to keep your sorry asses in gravy..
AND I expect that "The People" will be making some changes
once they figure that out... You have taxed them in hidden and "shell game" ways
without thought or concern of the effect on their lives for far too long...

How many times have they heard "we can't afford a tax cut" as you vote yourselves
raises and perks..?

You are pariahs on their backs, but you have hidden it well...
Now it is time to expose you for what you truly are...
Most of you are quaking in your shoes just thinking of this...
And you should be...

To the Supreme Court...
Stick to OUR constitution...
We don't care what France et al have to say...

And yes, it IS a "living, breathing" document...

But the standards by which it lives and breathes
are spelled out quite plainly within the document itself...

STOP trying to "FIX" it...
It aint broke...

Necro's Rant
PART 2

Slavery by any other name is still slavery...
And when we force our people to work for months on end JUST to pay
their taxes we are enslaving them...
And the last time I checked, THAT particular form of man's inhumanity to man was rather frowned upon...
The reality of our situation is that when the beneficiaries of the "Golden Tit of the Taxpayers"
out number the productive, hard working wage earners that generate those funds, the workers
become an unrepresented populace, with NO voice, and NO vote...
They are out numbered by a portion of society that has been raised since birth with the notion that they are "entitled" to
the funds "provided by government" and so, by default, entitled to the labor of those who generate those funds.
This is NO different than the Plantation owner feeling "entitled" to the labor of a black man,
or the Pharaoh feeling "entitled" to the labor of a Jew...
When we "entitle" groups of society to the labors of others,
have we not strayed from the concept of freedom..?
How can we honestly claim that we are a society based on freedom,
when we force a man to work for 4-5 months out of each year to provide
for something other than his own family..?
How is he "free"..?
What affect does our current system of "the level playing field" have on society at large.?
Let me give an example...
Scenario #1
I have a small family farm in a farming community...
I spend 60 hours per week tending my crops and livestock
to feed my family, and keep the farm running...
My neighbor, also a farmer takes ill, and I get together with a few
farmers in the area, and we work out a shared work plan to help him out...
Each of us donates 25% of our time to keep our neighbor afloat, and to help out his family....
We're all tired, but we walk away with a feeling of goodness in our hearts, for
having been able to make a difference in his life....

PART3

Scenario #2
Same community... One Farmer is making choices and has bad behaviors which
prevent him from making his farm produce to the potential that it could, if he would only
put forth the effort...
The local magistrate, perhaps feeling good about "helping" this farmer
mandates that I and my other neighbors will by law now donate 25% of our time to
"level the playing field" for this poor unfortunate farmer...
My neighbors and I put in the same amount of time as we did in scenario #1
and toil away while the farmer in question sits on the porch telling us what a sad childhood he had,
or that he didn't come from a wealthy family, or [insert sad sad story here]
It confuses me and the others, because we know that he had to put up with the very same
weather as we did, the same varmint infestations, the same weed growth, etc..
All of the various hurdles that needed to be jumped in order to grow strong crops...
We also know that he made a number of FREE choices that brought certain consequences into
his life, that we avoided by making a different subset of choices...
We stand at the water well, quenching our thirst from all of the extra labor we have to do in order to
work his farm, as well as our own, and we question "How in God's name is this a ""LEVEL"" playing field..."
None of us having been educated in those bright shiny colleges, can't for the life us figure out how
we are all being treated as equals under the law...
What makes it worse is long about spring time we're told that we have to now work
30% of our time on the man's farm... When we complain we're told "we can't afford a time cut"...
"Can't afford..?" we think...
One of the neighbors says he's all done slaving for some one else's failed choices...
He doesn't come to the farm the next day to "contribute" the mandated amount of time...
We learned later that the magistrate arrested that man, and forcibly took all his crops to cover
the deficit of his required time... The family was forcibly removed from the farm house, and the
farm is to be sold to provide proceeds to fix the roof on the farm we are forced to work, because
the poor, sad farmer didn't tar his roof last spring, and it's begun to leak...
Several years pass, and we decide that it's time to vote for a new magistrate that
promised to reduce the amount of hours we have to work on some one else's farm...
But it turns out that there are 12 farms in our area that receive the "forced labor"
and only 10 of us doing the labor...
The result..?
We are out numbered, and the community votes to keep the status quo
AND to increase our labor time to 35%...
I guess because the field still ain't level...
Or could it be that "all animals are equal, cept pigs are MORE equal"..?
Now the big question is...
Which of the 2 scenarios would enhance our community's reciprocity,
and which would detract from it..?
Which gives me the FREEDOM to pursue my own happiness..?
How does it affect our ability to FREELY choose to donate our labors
to those we see as deserving of our help..?
Freedom... a concept that has lost it's meaning when we begin to dictate
what a man will spend his time doing...

Necro's Rant
PART 4

Reciprocity suffers a direct hit when the populace feels like they are
loaded down with the burdens created by others making choices and
living life styles that any sane person can recognize as detrimental...
On both a personal, as well as societal level...

A teen goes through school, partying, barely making the grade, unfocused,
making FREE choices as to whether or not studying is important to His/Her life...
FREELY chooses to practice behaviors which preclude him/her from success...

And then, when that person graduates from a tax funded school and enters the real world,
and discovers they don't have the tools to succeed.. we force those who studied hard,
practiced behaviors that led to success, to "level the playing field" because of our sense
of "Entitlement"...

The hard reality is truly, that until we begin to teach INDIVIDUAL
responsibility and CONSEQUENCE, we will never succeed...

There is NO feel good answer, mandated policy, socialist program that can fix it...

Further, as long as we continue to provide funds to those who do not suffer the consequences of their own FREE
choices, we will enable behaviors and choices that will further tear down the social capital and reciprocity
within our communities... And THAT becomes a generational problem that grows like a rolling snowball down hill...

Shrink it down to the familial level...

When we become enablers for the drug user/drunk/irresponsible choices of a family member,
are we helping them in the true sense of the word..?

Or are we only perpetuating the problem..?

What affect does it have on the reciprocity and social capital within the family..?

The definition of Insanity has been said to be:
"The repeated attempts of the same action while
expecting different results each time..."

It's time my friends, to move away from the left,
and put a little common sense back into our country...

WHY should gun owners have to pay ANY fees? Do they have to pay to VOTE??
As a Jewess in the US, I say who NEEDS crooked scum politicians like this? Fire them all, then make any NRA membership card an automatic NATIONAL Concealed Carry permit! Think of the money we'd save on cars and salaries.

No offense, Mass., but it just goes to show, when it comes to our guns and our right to carry/own them, you can't trust a Democrat. How many times is this gonna be thrown in ya'lls faces before you realize it's true? Vote the other party. Even in yoiur state, they going to be friendlier to our position on gun rights. Also, remember, a Democrat = higher taxes
