I feel better now dont you. Its too bad they didnt tell us this when the last E-SPLOST was passed. I had rather everyone pay more at the register with a sales tax than to continue this process. At least it would distribute the burden a little more equally.

Perhaps if we weren't providing free education to so many non-citizens the school system wouldn't be so strapped.

I want to thank the "KNOW IT MORES" for raising my taxes on my properties and taking the money away from my minor childrens well being. I ain't poor but I sure feel like it and more tax increases just add to the feeling. I have worked my whole life and now I feel poorer than ever. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH and I feel sure you can tell how sarcastic I am being to you "KNOW IT MORES" than the rest of us.

Also while I am at it, welcome to all the people that have moved here for a better life, you have taken mine!!!!! Thanks to you also.

You can narrow down the "KNOW IT MORES" to three men, and their "YES MEN" concubines, who said they had no other choice. What did you want them to do? RAISE WAGES AND BENIFITS!!! SHARE THE WEALTH!!!

They simply had to recruit 10s of thousands of uneducated, non-English speaking illegal aliens. And, they had to welcome 10s of thousands more West Coast Spanish speakers as translators.

The locals shouldn't mind at all. Look at the bright side - Dalton was transformed into a cosmopolitan town(slum).

And, this isn't over yet. When the courts force the town to vote by district, instead of at large, locals will give up all political control. That will lead to a mass exodus of the original inhabitants.

What six generations of local citizens built over the course of 150 + years was sacrificed by 3 men, overnight, for a buck, and what's amazing, is they can still walk the streets of Dalton.

What's even worse is they have already admitted this increase will still not be enough. Get ready for more sob stories of how the teachers are suffering from low wages blah blah blah. I will tell you the bus drivers along with the lunching staff as well as the substitute teachers are the ones who deserve a raise. Many of the teachers are doing very well look up their pay online and you may well be shocked at what some of the ones you know make per year. The more schools that are built the more teachers are hired to fill those positions and the payroll goes up. It's pretty simple if you really think about it.
