Has anyone had an dealings with the service department. Someone at my husbands employment warned him about taking our nissan over there to get it worked on that they were nothing but crooks. He spent almost $900.00 on the car and it is still running the same way. Now we are out nearly $900.00 and no car that we can drive. I thought that places like this are suppose to make it right. He got mad because I cursed but who wouldn't when you call and they make it plain that they are not about to make it right!

pye nissan and the one down town chattanooga tn. are ones you do not want to deal with. I have always had great service and honesty with hunt nissan off of shallowford chattanooga tn. I don't know if it is still under the same name but I bought a new maxima three years agoe and they seem to go out of their way to help you and seem to be very honest.

Go under DEALER RATER and you will really see how crooked this place is. Why did your husband go there after people at his work place warned him about pye nissan?

I took my wifes car to pye with a transmission problem. The service guy told me it wasn't covered due to missing a scheduled maint and because it was a cvt it would be several thousand dollars. I drove it to hunt nissan in chattanooga the next day at 30 mph the whole way.
They called me 30 mins later it was a brake switch covered under warrenty and they even discounted an oil change for bringing them the business.

Also I noticed that a few of the service mechanic seem to like to smoke around customers cars. I would never take my car to them. You would be better off getting the local shade tree whino to work on it.

The need more then a just a building facelift. they need whole new staff.

I don't know how long ago this happened but the new service manager is Dean Jennings and he seems to be pretty honest. My husband never explained the details about the service job. Come to find out the part that my husband bought from auto zone was defective and they have ordered another part a nissan brand and they are going to install it with no labor cost. We will see how it goes.

Bought a vehicle at Pye Honda in the late 90's, and it was a horrible experience. When I had a problem, they said tough luck. Had a ignorant and arrogant woman in charge of the service dept. Have been in their service dept one time for a minor repair, they did $400 dollars worth of damage - had to sue them to get money for the damage. You can sue them in magistrate court for issues under $5000.

Have purchased 3 more Hondas since - all at Economy Honda in Chattanooga.

I use the best Honda repair shop in the region, S&S Auto Repair, in Chattanooga - they are always courteous and professional, have 30+ years of Honda repair experience, and are honest to a fault, and can diagnose problems without having to replace half of the parts on the car. They also have seasoned Toyota and Nissan mechanics.

I've waited 5 years for a good chance to tell this. I was looking at new trucks and Pye Nissan had one that I really liked. I stopped by TWICE to look at it. I have a great credit score by the way. The first time I briefly spoke with the sales Mgr who just happened to be the Sunday School Director at my church.( Dug Gap Baptist...Joey Kelly ) It was a brief conversation..it went something like "How much are you asking"?" A week later I stopped by again. I was more serious and going to buy a Nissan truck. This time I talked to a salesman on the lot. I had done some research and knew what they should be willing to take and made him a reasonable offer. He said that the would have to ask the Sales Mgr,( my Sunday School Director ) that I had spoke with earlier. I thought, great... we're getting somewhere. He took to see Joey and told him I was interested in the truck.( never even told him the offer ) Joey looked at us and said.." This guy is a friend. We love to have him stop by, but he's not going to buy a truck.. he's just a friend that likes to look. He's not going to by a truck. " That was the end of the conversation. I never figured out was was up with him. I bought a Ford the next day/ The Nissan was my first choice and a better truck, but the Ford was a lot cheaper and has been great.

That is the attitude at Pye Nissan. I was mad at the time but I'm glad I found out before I bought because it would have come thru everywhere else. You can say, "that's just one guy... it's not a good representation of the whole place", but the Mgt there has to know of that attitude, and obviously tolerate it which to me amounts to supporting it.

So, today at parkers rest, little johnny came in yest with Shawn and they were sitting and eating debbies daughter, cassie, had mentioned to them she didn't get some certificate for her KIA she had bought from Cleveland inarch. Johnny says you mean you didn't buy it from us? He was furious and so was mini me(Shawn). They left and around two yest a lady from pye called parkers to cancel the Christmas party they had ordered from parkers for 192 people. Can you believe that? Two days before after she had ordered all the food and cooked the turkeys. He said it was a slap in the face to not buy from m. Is he the godfather? Hahaha. He must think so. Now Edna, debbes mom,83 yrs old has parked over at KIA for almost twenty yrs,but today, amazingly they had a car parked in that place. What jerks! Now,rumor has it,Shawn has ordered no employee better be caught at parkers restaraunt or they will be fired. Can you believe that? Talk about lawsuits! I'd like for any boss try to tell me where I can or can't eat.

One time the Mechanic manager or something along those lines came out screaming at a customer about how he wasnt going to work on the car because they were closing in 30 minutes so he didnt have to do it if he didnt want too...

Thwir were workers from the dealershup sittimg on chairs out their that saw the man screaming at the customer.

The only reason the Pyes' are still in business is because they are located in the "carpet capital of the world", where most of the residents tie strings together for a living. They only exist because their customers are too ignorant to evaluate them, when all they have to do is ask anyone who has ever set foot in any of the Pyes' dealerships.

Bought an Accord at Woodstock Honda. They would not do a loaner as I didn't purchase there. Fine. They kept sliding the car to the back behind Pye customers. I got the car back still broken and filled with grease on headliner, seat, and carpet. The half ass cleaned it and wouldn't try to repair. Traded for a Chevrolet. No issues since. F--k Pye.

I'd much rather eat at Parker's than buy a car across the street. Maybe Pye would be wise to spend the time he is spending boycotting a nice family restaurant researching why Cleveland can offer a better deals on their cars.
