• Alvaro Ambrocio, 35, 271 Scott Mill Road, Canton, was placed on an immigration hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
• Rosendo Ambrocio, 43, 141 Scott Mill Road, Canton, was placed on an immigration hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail by ICE.
• Elva Ambrocio-Perez, 39, 401 Scott Mill Road, Canton, was placed on an immigration hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail by ICE.
• Raymond Dale Boydston, 45, 262 Leaderman Road, Trenton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with pedestrian under the influence and terroristic threats and acts.
• Stephen Anthony Carroll, 36, 780 Maple Grove Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.
• Carlos James Cornette, 30, 404 Robinwood Circle, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation (of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, two counts).
• Ernesto Diaz-Ramirez, 28, 271 Killian St., Canton, was placed on an immigration hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail by ICE.
• Charles Edgar Gowan, 55, 20 Box Elder Court, Campobello, S.C., was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, following too closely and speeding.
• Jeremy Allan Grant, 33, 181 Heatherly Lane, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, DUI-drugs, DUI-endangering a child, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony, failure to maintain lane (two counts), speeding and operating without proper tag.
• Doyle Bradford Hall, 44, 1117 McClure Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.
• Frances Maria Higdon, 47, 677 Fashion Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation (VGCSA, carrying schedule 4 drug across guardline).
• Justin Joe Long, 17, 3031 Five Springs Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts and felony theft by taking.
• Jacob Jonothan Nagy, 32, 95 Van Buren Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, use of a communications facility in a drug transaction, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• Maurice James Harris, 33, 5536 Lake Cathy Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with probation violation/parole violation and felony probation violation

Way to go Whitfield County caught 4 in a nights swipe!!! Keep up the awesome work and we will soon have our state clean of all the illegal moochers and their anchors!You guys are doing an AWESOME JOB!!!!
