What a moron!
Every year, federal agencies and contractors issue a Hatch Act notification to their employees. Also, all agencies have an ethics officer who can be consulted if there is any doubt as to whether an activity is permissible or prohibited.
You have to wonder if Cianfrani knew that he couldn't run, but was in the race to draw votes from one of the real reform candidates.

The Hatch act also applies to municipal employees if they supervise employees who are funded in part with federal grants, such as local police chiefs whose departments accept federal funding for seatbelt laws, DUI patrols ect. Do we have any violations in the local MDJ races? Let's check!
