I'm a 8th grader there and we don't use them for jack squat. i very much agree with what you said. we have to spend class time for filling out "activity logs" saying how much we worked out over a 3 day period for them to send to the gov. to get money. 90% of the stuff we get we don't use. we got a climbing wall the previous year and only used it once.

Very astute observation! Agree with you 1000%. If YOU and most of US can see this waste, why can't the powers that be recognize this absolute waste. Phy. Ed., as it was called in the '50 was a complete waste, same today. Observed a Phy. Ed. program in Japan, while serving in the military. Each morning, opening ceremonies were held. EVERYONE, administrators/teachers/studen ts/custodians/cooks, EVERYONE participated in one half hour of vigorous calisthenics, lead by the teachers in their individual rooms. Cost of Phy. Ed. program,'ZERO'- except for room deodorant! Then again, what do THEY know, they are only about 60+ points ahead of us on the intelligence scale.
